SR is a great guy. Great choice for the position.

Nice mouth by the way. Actually I said something about the D1 coaches from up North. Maybe you should go back and read, since someone mentioned that the reason the coaches didn't show was because of the cold weather. I was pointing out that must be why the list of coaches went from some top name D1 programs, to what actually came.

No, I responded to a thread that said Seminole State and others didn't make it. I said, because it was very cold and you said something about the girls playing college soccer. I corrected you and said I was talking about the coaches from Florida and surrounding states not making it because of the cold and you said something about D1 coaches from up north!😝

How do you shut down ECNL from Oct. to Feb. when one the premier ECNL showcase events is at the Seminole Soccer Complex between Christmas and New Year? OCYS is actually the host club for the event. Literally hundreds of coaches attend, but OCYS is going quiet during that time. It is a home event that has no travel cost required to participate, but the brain trust at OCYS is not going to practice and train in preparation for it.

I said much of the season. Obviously we are playing in the Sanford event. We've been playing Disney and CASL during high school forever. The fact is OCYS is working with high schools instead of trying to destroy them.

Thank you OC for looking out for the best interest of our girls!
No ones has changed anything. WFP and OCYS are scheduling around high school for the most part. It's really not a difficult task as long as your agenda isn't keeping your kids from playing high school.

correct, the D1 coaches that originally were supposed to be there, and then all of sudden the list changed. Then what showed wasn't anything like what it was supposed to be. So how cold was it that college coaches were so unprofessional as to not show up for an ID camp to look at prospective recruits. I don't really consider 60 all that cold, do you?

So you are telling us that the whole division that OCYS is going to change their schedule this coming season to accommodate them. I guess they are really changing the league then as all the teams in their division played all of their games September through December with a few games in February. The bulk of the games being in December. SO when is OCYS going to play theirs.

See nothing wrong with that. Well done OCYS!

If you're concerned, why not contact him directly and ask him?

One thing is for certain: players and families at FKK won't have to be concerned about ECNL and high school soccer.

Unless, of course, players and families at FKK continue to be concerned with OCYS.

I would say it's because of generally poor training, development of bad habits and tactics, a low level of competition, a higher level of dangerous play from untrained athletes, and injury from overtraining. I think those are perfectly good reasons for a Club Director to discourage participation in HS. what would be the point otherwise?
So, as devout followers of the all-knowing HM, high-school eligible FKK players won't be playing for their high school teams 2013-14?
