Folks, this is not worth the anger and certainly not the back and forth for the past two months. In a perfect soccer world, Orlando would have one ECNL program and the best players would play. They thought they had that the first year by acquiring CFK and bringing their girls teams on board. TO not one person's surprise, those teams went to ECNL nearly to the player. And how did they do? This amazing collection of girls teams that have played together for years?

So I ask you, how is that a collection of the best talent in Central Florida? FCA had some very good girls teams that did very well in tournament and state cup play. Are you going to tell me not one of those girls would have made the ECNL team? not one? I think AH answered that when several of the girls followed him to OCYS. What about Rush? They have had State Cup champions and finalist in the past. Not one of those worthy of a starting slot on an ECNL team? This year will be a much better representation of talent from the Central Florida area. Girls came to try-outs from FCA, Rush, SCU as well as other clubs around Central Florida. This is not the CFK/FSA pool of talent from 2012-13. Time is on the side of OC. In three-years, HM will be at another club and most of the top talent will be at ECNL. Most important, most of the FKKrazies will have graduated from high school and their parents will be gone from youth soccer.

All we can do is try and set an example of how to do it right. Come together and support the girls. The game is about them!

FSA girls tried out for the ECNL teams the first year and many of them were asked to play. Certain FSA coaches told them not to. The teams were not representation of central Florida because the FSA coaches didn't want to coach the 2nd team. So don't put all the blame on CFK - the nonsense started at try-outs.

Your kids won't play for OC...how old?...why won't they play for OC?...because they don't want to play for OC or you won't let your kids play for OC?

There's a BIG difference.

Well my kids are very happy. Both of my son's play for RUSH soccer club we were told by Greg Brick that my son's were fantastic soccer players and he wanted to keep a watchful eye on them. Both of my boys are DA players for RUSH. My boys will be brought up for certain games according to Coach Brick.

We were told that playing for RUSH was important and the only way our boys could be brought up and be DA players was to play for RUSH soccer club.

Did any good boys leave OC or just girls? It was just girls.

Two things....Where where all of the talented girls from FCA, RUSH,SCU when they were holding tryouts LAST year? If they were so proud and confident of their talent why didn't they tryout for ECNL then?------The other thing...The FKKKRAZIES will be GONE? Look in the mirror PAL....IT's YOU!.......KRAZY parent 2.0!

Agreed. Anyone who knows this club knows they only pay lip service to girls' soccer- and then only when forced to do so. They almost lost ECNL, and only saved it through a panicked hiring of a coach from FCA and a series of threatened lawsuits.

Things will get back to normal soon- ignore the girls, blame others.

This was not a promise it was more like marketing. Kinda like the 30,000 likes on FB vs the 200 likes on FKK FB.

Real vs make believe

Look up the word promise in the dictionary. Then think of making a promising to young boy and breaking it.

Your whine is made from sour grapes (yuck!).

You thought the petition and the threat to leave would drive OCYS to its knees. That OCYS would lose ECNL and the almighty HM would prevail (you know he "walks on water" - good thing he knows where the rocks are).

OCYS called your bluff, stood its ground and retained ECNL (evidently the almighty HM ain't so almighty after all). Once the threat to leave was well publicized, you had no choice but to do so (or eat crow and humble pie and wear egg on your face). Despite your efforts you failed to comandeer the ship.

So now you're gone. OCYS is no longer your concern. Time for you to focus on your own team in your own club and your own player(s).
