Reality is: We paid about 1500$ to play for a state cup team. So far into the season, we had 24 sessions of training and 20 games, including league and tournaments. That is about 36 hours of training and may be we will be lucky to get another 16 hours before season ends. With this 50 to 60 hours of training, you get to play in state cup? then we compare ourselves to rest of the worlds football countries? It is a shame on these FYSA/US Youth Soccer or USSF whoever runs this monopoly, license and aid the clubs to scam. In our case atleast we get some quality training (no prescribed quantity), but rest of the club does not have same level of coaching.
USA is known for free market and why soccer and that too at little kids level has to be this badly exploited?
