To set the record straight; The City of Orlando owns the land and will be own the stadium. OC is a financial partner but is not accepting tax payer funds. Those funds go directly to the City to contract with the firms building the stadium. You really should try and understand how these deals work rather than throw ridiculous accusations at a club that is digging into its own pocket, just like the Magic did, to fund youth sports facilities.

Delta Flight D3247 from Rio Brazil has been re routed to Miami.
The Mayor of Dade County-Miami struck a better deal.
The Miami Deal:
1- Beckham
2-Increased Tourism
3- No City/County/State money to build a stadium
4- No crazy back door County deals on fields
The Orlando Deal:
Bend over and take it. Well done Orlando.
We will fill a stadium. Yes, I believe we will fill a 18,000 seat stadium. This is not the issue. The issue is who will sit in those seats. Our City was sold on a high percent 25/30% would be tourist. Tourist stay in hotels, use are theme parks and buy what we sell. When season tickets go on sale and OC sells 18,000 season tickets to locals you will know the truth. Politicians

I am sure you will find something to cry about. That is what you guys are best at doing. Crying and complaining like a bunch of old women. Interesting you did not try and refute my support of kids who go to small schools. I guess even you have to concede that point. Next time find out what side I am on before you try and take me on. I have been around far too long to be concerned with your kind. Get your kid to school and then go start sh** on the college threads of rivals.com
Next!

So Orange leaders required Orlando City Soccer to give something back, namely $200,000 a year for 15 years to help operate new all-purpose fields for the public."

ALL of the boys are small schools.
What about those awesome national team caliber girls?
Texas State?
Concordia?
Elon?
Lafayette?
St. Edwards?
Looks like the pot is calling himself black - LOL. You are so stupid you dissed your own players. Nice job dad. Way to keep it classy FKK.
I maintain my position that it is the player and not the size of the school. I think it would be great for any of the above mentioned athletes to make the national team. Of course HM would never allow us to hear the end of it, however, I guess it would be worth it to shut your pie hole up.
There are also a few private schools there so I am confused by your post. I think you are just ignorant. I know you were responding to another poster but two wrongs...

See if you can follow along. I mean I know this is confusing with different partners and all kinds of media. But you and your FKKrazies need to understand how municipal projects work. The Land and the building are owned by the City of Orlando. The County kicked in money towards the building of that stadium. Even Seminole county is kicking in tax money.
OK, this is where it confuses your little pudd'n head. The money goes into a construction fund for bonds and other assurances the GC needs to build the building. It does not go to OC. OC derives revenue from the stadium through naming rights, concession commission from games and other advertising related sales the team does. The team still pays rent like any other tennant. You do realize that right? the Magic pay rent, the Predators used to pay rent (until the defaulted and had to move to UCF) and any concert promoters or monster truck producers that use the stadium will pay rent. The City and OC have a written contract which you will be able to access online through Florida Sunshine laws.
So to recap there FKK bitter parent, OC is not receiving money from the City. The construction of the stadium which OC will occupy and pay rent on is recieving tax payer money. Just like Amway, Performing Arts and Citrus Bowl did.
Stay Classy FKK.

I never dissed the girls. I was standing up for girls that go to those schools be they small, private, DI, II, III or whatever. OK. the OP was dissing St. Leo and I only offered a retort that not all your athletes were signed to ACC and SEC powerhouses. Again, with emphasis, I am the one defending scholar-athletes. Your idiot parent is the one making fun of school choice.
Back to the car wash FKK. You have bills to pay. I heard GM is planning another trip abroad to promote youth soccer.
