Outta ammo, I see. But thanks for playing Mr. Webster.
my family was excited for my son who made OC as a DP player. Come to find out basically everyone in the club on the boys side is being told the same story.
Salesmanship is alive at Orlando City Youth Soccer Club!
We will stick it out with OC for this year but hoping the promises made to my son will come true.
* He was told he would be brought up for a min of 6 games come to find out the top team already has 22 players. Found out most of his purple team was told they were DP players. Doing the math thats a total of 38 kids in his age group that are DP players and now hear that kids that were told to go to the Rush soccer club in my son's age group are also consider DP players.
Are any other clubs involved in this DP player pool. It seems impossible for my son to get 6 games with the Academy team.
Signed
A family fooled into thinking the DP spot was important.

We knew the Purple team had DP players but had not heard about Rush soccer club. Seems like these clubs were scratching year others backs to draw registration for one another.
If you have a true academy team and then two other teams in the same age group one being the purple team and another being at Rush thats a total of 60 kids.
These promises and the way things are handled are short term. Parents talk. We are dissapointed with the minipulation of the truth.

You ARE important!
Just as important as the 100's of others that were told the same tale to get you signed. so why "stick it out"? You have until July 1st to join another club. Rush, FCA, FKK whatever.

Parents spoke out this year on Super Y.
If you charted Super Y
* Year number 1 numbers were off the charts
- Promises were made and not kept
- Duel training sessions for second teams
- games promised that did not occur
* Year number two Super Y
Just look at the numbers.
If someone running super y wanted to throw excuses out he might use Dev Academy as a reason for low numbers but the truth is many of those top kids did not even play Super Y.
The lack of service delivered to parents and kids is the main reason for the dwindling numbers.
Year number 2 OC youth club.
OC with US Dev academy and ECNL in their possession
year number 2 see's a decline in numbers.
Should we discuss Recreational soccer and the decline because of poor service?
OC Board of Directors I'm asking that you open your eye's to the facts. Hopefully your not being sold a bill of goods from Director sales leaders who are the reason for your decilne in registration.

Did not help that the OC coaches last year were treated poorly by Directors. As a coach I was not made to feel a part of this club. When the chance came up to leave after poor service and communication from Directors I along with 17-18 other coaches hit the road.
I Wish OC Board might open their eyes to the facts. I won't mention names but leadership did not occur at OC.
Why have 10 Directors. When you post this many semi leaders no one takes responsibility. A director can hide so easily in the mess that OC has created.
A Motto we heard more then once from the Directorship.
" The Directorship was to be a tight band of friends that had each others backs " This thinking is a nightmare in the waiting. Look at big government when this mentality takes front stage politics takes over and leadership dies.
Service goes down the drain.
Top OC leaders need to sit back and blame no one but themselves. The first positive step to recovery in understanding your mistakes not passing blame to others.
OC many were pulling for this organization to become the top youth club in America.

Be careful, Coach. ^^^This kind of talk gets you a spot on the Enemies List. Stay anonymous and move on to the next opportunity where the Club has a philosophy that matches your own.
Not to mention a post that was made 3 days ago on the subject. I'll go out on a limb and say there was nothing to it and it is just a low class move by the OP.
I'm starting to believe that the OP of this thread (Orlando City Files Suit) could be the same OP of "Maitland Says No to FKK". Both timed to crank up the rumor mill just prior to a deadline for switching clubs. Obviously someone who wishes damage at FKK, and probably someone a little panicked about eroding membership at OC.

Oh brother!! It's probably one person and you are going to assume that OC is in panic mode? I can assure you that OC is alive and well. We chose to stay at OC this year and I can tell you at tryouts and registration things were hopping at the complex. Granted they lost players, but not enough to cripple the club. It really and truly is time for everyone to move on and be happy where you ended up, instead of wishing failure on the other club. Best advice is to not burn bridges with anyone - you never know what will happen from year to year - OBVIOUSLY.

Top club leaders should look no further then themselves. Look at the choices they made for leaders. Your top executive was promoted by OC for purposes of control when you rendered him not capable of running this mega club you demoted him to Rec Director. You removed a man from Rec Director that had 100% approval of the rec coaches. Your numbers on the rec side dwindled from 600 to 250 from Fall to Spring. That rec director you fired did nothing wrong. I ask the OC board who was involved in these damaging moves to our club?
HM was fired. Why was Hue fired? Yes Hue is blunt and to the point but Hue knows how a club runs. If you ask Hue a question Hue will tell you the truth. Can you handle the truth or would you rather be in the situation you have been facing.
Seems that OC is full of folks that want to hear positives when positives are not warranted.
At this point can you blame hue from starting a new club? Did you expect him to simply DIE. Maybe you were hoping he might leave Florida.
Hue has created key relationships that if you understood running a club you would be really nervous. Your not nervous because you don't have a clue on the relationships that are underway.
Hue is connecting Florida for a number of purposes.
College ID and college scholarship Program
Tournaments ( details will come out soon ) but these key clubs will support each other
Showcase events
Coach interaction and education
If the OC Directorship wants to hire Hue as a consultant. HM Consulting LLC
* The Directorship will talk bad about Hue but at the same time try to follow EVERY single move and COPY his lead. Talk crap about a man but copy him and then report your brilliance to your bosses. " Ya thats leadership kids, parents and coaches want to be around.
OC you created more competition then you could ever imagine. Again I ask the board. Who is advising you to make these decisions.

We better find a way to stop Hue quickly. These moves are GREAT for Soccer and the community but horrible for our business. Lets Sue him quickly. We are not builders we are takers so call the lawyers. Good idea. True colors come out...

It is low class started by the English to get free consultation on what are the consequences if there was a lawsuit? No other brain storming can be as effective as this one. OC just saved another few dollars!
