makes perfect sense to use academy kids when season is deemed a failure. Will these same academy kids be on the team next season. If development is focus then you must play these exact kids for the next 3-4 years together. If not just an excuse. The problem with the OC U23s is the people involved in it don't have any idea what they are doing. PS doesn't know how to build a team and then get them to play effective team futbol. The U23s and PS have the MLS to sell and still can't put a good team together. The U23s are more about individual play than team play and for having the MLS to back the U23s up I think PS or whoever should be able to get much more talent than they have.
IMO based on the people involved I believe FKK U23s will be better than the OC U23s pretty quickly and in fact will put a better team/organization together with less money behind it and quite possibly even less talent. I think history already shows that.Comment

serious question, looking for serious feed back;
Let's say that FKK's U23's are better than OC next year. Not just as a team but a few individuals. Lets say the FKK player wants to go MLS. Does OC have first claim on them (homegrown)? Do you think that player will transefer to OC U23 so he can go MLS? Once in MLS do you think that player will publicly credit a rival club for his development?
All hypothetical questions but something to think about.Comment

I totally agree. There's really no comparison- we have ECNL, DA, MLS, the coaching staff is phenomenal, the facility is top notch. No reason to go further. All you cockroaches at FKK can suck it.Comment
