I'm not the one who posted the link, but if you haven't found the information you are looking for by now, then you aren't really interested in finding it. I'm not going to waste my time spoon-feeding it to you. The internet really is not that difficult to use. I even gave you a specific website that has much of the information. Why the name calling? I thanked you for the effort, but all you did was post a Google listing of news stories- basically secondhand information. It's apparent there's no source documents available, so we have to rely on word of the parties as to what's in the agreement. Unfortunately, neither has proven particularly trustworthy.

I can't understand why you guys are so determined to attack people asking simple questions in a respectful way. You do nothing but call names and post sneering answers. I would think EVERYONE would want to know details of the deal.

I don't understand why you're so suspicious and hostile of questions everyone should be interested in. At least, however, you don't find it necessary to engage in the name calling and vitriol.

Why did Phil fire HM?

So 1 year later the question still remains. Why did PR fire HM? He paid him his entire contract for the year. HM ran off and created his club and pulled a large group of kids with him. HM created the Coalition to fight OC at every turn. All this and we still don't really know what happened. BP was let go at the end of the year and has proven he could not run a go kart down a hill. Steve Crane is running 3v3 teams all over the state trying to survive. PS is walking around smiling and ruining the PDL team.

So what is the truth? We can handle the truth!

The animosity stems from perception. Some say OC didn't earn it. What does that even mean? They have it. They had a plan to obtain it and executed that plan. Some will say they did earn it. We may not agree with how it was obtained but the result is the same. Take emotion out of it. OC got MLS, new stadium, youth academy, DA, ECNL all under 1 flag. Here is another truth. Each year OC continues, the stronger they will be. The best youth players will find their way there. Each year the other clubs' best players will start to leave, mostly they will age out. We all see it. This is the root of your fears and the strength of OC. Longevity, they have it, you don't. Time to stop being bitter parents and lets bring the best kids together now. It will happen eventually, with or without us.

Because GB was intimidated by HM. He knew he had to get rid of him if he was to survive. Phil just listened to the wrong guy. If GB would have been fired there would be no FKK. Bottom line there was to many egos under one roof.

To many cooks in the kitchen type of deal. HM didn't play ball so to speak, and they assumed girls and boys soccer was the same.

Funny thing now is that girls registration numbers have improved while junior boys have fallen. GB and CM might be in the hot seat now from what I've heard. Both have been removed from leadership and might have if their roles slowly reduced going forward. Doubt either is around in 2 years.

Because I'm not convinced you care about the details. If you cared, you would have looked them up yourself. You have spent more time asking other people to post details than it would have taken you to find them out for yourself. I told you there were articles that summarized the details. You asked for a link. Someone posted a link to articles, and now you say that is secondhand information and not sufficient. I told you that there is information on the City of Orlando website. But now you say you don't trust them. Now you want the actual agreements. You have already been told those aren't available on the internet. If you want that, go to the city and ask for it. I'm not going to do that for you, You are the one who claims to be interested, so go get the information for yourself. It is extraordinarily arrogant for you to assume that I should do it for you.

You don't like OC. If this was a deal for any other organization, you wouldn't care about it. There isn't anything I can do to change your opinion, so I'm not going to waste the time trying to change it.

I would disagree that OC is getting stronger locally. With DA, ECNL, and MLS they will do better getting high level players, already seeing more players not from OC on DA and ECNL. But parents with kids outside that level are now seeing there is no pot of gold for development.

OC total club registration as fallen each year, and your seeing more community type soccer clubs getting bigger. They have done damage to corporate soccer clubs but community based clubs seem to be growing with team focused approach.

I'm not with FKK but my guess is OC will be like Weston in south fl. Flip to that thread for your future.

Numbers are up this year for OC so not sure what you are basing your comments on. I also think it depends on what your kid is looking for - if looking to have fun and play more rec community clubs are great. If your kid is looking to play at the next level playing in a community club will make that more challenging to accomplish - not impossible but certainly harder.
