OC didn't recruit JA, he went to them. Now if OC had shown any professional ethics they would have told JA they wouldn't talk to him until after his season was over at FCA. Instead they thought (or maybe JA sold them) that his FCA girls would follow him, so they jumped on the offer and gave him a Super-Y spot for the summer. I guess we'll see come tryouts week whether he can actually deliver and whether OC will keep him for next year. If karma has any say he'll be out of a coaching job by fall. FCA girls seem to be doing better without him.

Dear ECNL Parents,

Over the course of the past six months, Orlando City Youth Soccer (OCYS) has
been working hard to bring together two youth soccer cultures and build a new
professionally-led youth soccer club. During that time we have reviewed the club
as a whole, the initial structure, job roles & responsibilities, taken feedback
from parents, Coaches, Directors and outside experts. We have also assessed the
willingness and ability of our staff to work together to build a new, exciting
and leading-edge youth soccer club.

It is against this background that the Board of Directors has taken the decision
to release Director of Soccer Operations & ECNL Program Manager, Hue Menzies,
from his duties at the Club.

We recognize that change is never easy and that there will be questions about
coaching and support for your daughter. We have thought through those questions
and have a plan to ensure that the girls get the highest level of coaching,
support and advice that will allow them to perform at their very best. Steve
Crane, Girls Senior Academy Director, will communicate that coaching plan to all
ECNL parents in the next few days.

We appreciate your support and look forward to providing the best possible
environment for the ECNL girls to continue to develop in the game.

The rules are clear. "No contact" means "no contact"... OC has a history of poaching coaches going back to the first day they hit the ground. No different here.

Really? So FSPL is FYSA and FKK was denied affiliation so that is out until new member votes in August....well after try-outs.

ECNL and FPL is US Club soccer. Is that what you are saying? And why wait until try-outs? Go ahead and post your new leagues. Might help you bring more kids out to try-outs.

The reason is you have no new affiliations. You will continue to spin on TS right up until try-outs and then you will admit that it is only CDL again in 2014-15.

So, FKK is playing State Cup under Maitland's affiliation. So as I understand it, any team advancing to round of 16 will be invited to play FSPL next year. That is by playing as Maitland FKK, correct?
