This thread is nothing more than FKK parents attempting to get players to come to their club. Thier relentless attempts have done nothing more then hurt youth soccer in central florida. move on allow others to make their own decisions rather than coming up with this sh!t. You people need help I feel bad for your kids. As the rest of central florida sees it you only have 1 good team and that would be your 17's. These comments are from certain moms who have nothing better to do with their day. Get over yourself your daughter will be gone before you know it. OC will have ECNL take that to the bank .... What rules and cheating are you talking about? FCA and OCYS both recently held tryouts for Super Y. FCA initially did not offer JA a coaching job for the summer which was certainly FCA's right. JA had no contractual commitment for the summer and was free to take a job. FCA later regretted not giving JA an offer prior to tryouts. You may have issues with OC for other reasons, but they were free to hire a Super Y coach for the summer. JA, OC and FCA all are big boys and did not break any rules or cheat. Everyone simply made self-serving business decisions. The FCA players and families deserve to be disappointed, but that was not the point of your comment. As another post suggested, the FCA players will do what is right for them when tryouts happen this year.

Even FCA would not agree with this distortion of the truth. OC made an offer to JA for Super Y work during June and July. OC made the offer to JA after FCA already had held its Super Y tryouts (FCA had not offered JA a Super Y job.) FCA did not offer JA a Super Y job until after JA told FCA about this. JA remained committed to his teams and was prepared to honor his contract with FCA until the end May. FCA tried to encourage JA not to do the OC Super Y work and stay with the club, but that did not work out. FCA made a business decision that allowing JA to fulfil his current FCA contract thru May was not what they wanted so they let him go. FCA has not disputed any of these facts. As others have said, the people this hurt are the players and families who had no say in all this. Some older FCA girls may look at OC next year, especially if they want to do ECNL, but not because JA went there -- word is JA would not be an ECNL coach anyway. Everyone else has done what they feel is in their best interests. When tryouts happen, the players and families will do the same.

Do you really think ECNL would tell any random caller of their plans? Of course not. And ECNL is very aware of of the embarrassment to their league in Orlando. It's been two seasons now. When will OCYS deliver?

And are you so positive that these anonymous posters are ALL from FKK? How? There's lots of clubs in central Florida that don't appreciate Big Corporate Soccer.

Carry on with your sad life maybe one day you will be fulfilled in your attempts to have the world see youth sports through your eyes but for now you need to move on. WOW- so it actually is happening? Can you cite a source or provide a link?

I know nothing about the Florida club situation. All I know about is Virginia Rush is getting kicked out of both the academy and the ECNL after the spring according to players up there. If one club can get their stuff revoked, it is surely possible another club could get kicked out. Once again, I know nothing about the Florida club situation and have not heard anything.

Maybe Rush can work something out with the other club these kids reference and avert disaster? Who knows?

There are good people that would move to Orlando with ECNL & DA backgrounds. That is what it is going to take to bring the area together.

OC didn't recruit JA, he went to them. Now if OC had shown any professional ethics they would have told JA they wouldn't talk to him until after his season was over at FCA. Instead they thought (or maybe JA sold them) that his FCA girls would follow him, so they jumped on the offer and gave him a Super-Y spot for the summer. I guess we'll see come tryouts week whether he can actually deliver and whether OC will keep him for next year. If karma has any say he'll be out of a coaching job by fall. FCA girls seem to be doing better without him.
