I guess for some people, making up speculative stories about what a club "might have done" or "could have done" makes you feel better about your association with a group of people who actually "step on everyone with no remorse". This is known as rationalization.

It isn't alternative futures or realities, it is what CFK was headed for. Nothing wrong with it but let's not forget what the goal was but to be a super club. CFK wanted to be that club. They never wanted to the neighborhood local club. They wanted to leave that to fca.

I haven't heard ONE club besides FKK make any statements about The Coalition and we know FKK's stance on ANYTHING OCYS does is biased (the ex girlfriend).

How do we know the coalition isn't just a save our own arse thing? What's next?

Wow, so someone who sees a different point of view is silly but it is an interesting thought. Now that I think back on the CFK days I remember them being quite aggressive with their expansion and I also remember the talk of ending daddy coaches.

Well bring me a beer please, I do think that fkk has played the political game from the beginning. If I read correctly, Phil hasn't pulled out of youth club field space but underprivileged kids field space. Yeah for fkk making sure those poor kids don't step on our new fields.

I haven't seen any club try to "monopolize" soccer until OCYS. CFK was growing, but never claimed it would be the only club. Same for Rush- growing and improving. FCA despite it's problems with FPS was a pretty good club until it hooked up with you-know-who.

None of them as non-profit youth soccer clubs ever had the clout to do as you claim. The only reason OCYS thinks it can is because it's backed by millionaires who own a pro club and are leveraging their capital to benefit the youth club.
