the coach who ruins it for the children, it is the parents. Look no further than OC vs FCA this past weekend. OC you can make all the excuses in the world but the bottom line is that you should win with class and lose with class. The game was a tough game between girls who are friends.

The girls not showing up is driven by the parents and coaches. Look at the social media sites and FCA gilrs are being destroyed. It is the parents job to teach their kids (both clubs) on how to act with grace. Posting stuff online only makes Central Florida soccer look bad. Both teams are solid teams and both teams should be proud of what they both hae accomplished this year and all the years that they have played soccer.

Just my thoughts.

The post defines the word HYPOCRITE. Stating the unfortunate situation where the FCA girls are being destroyed on the social media sites is terrible. So,...this hypocrite's solution then is to.......bash the girls who just lost to them but played their hearts out with many players hurt/out and congratulated FCA immensely after the game (big hugs from both sides). One girl w broken tibia, one tore knee up, another with tears in knee, the goalie had violent collision on field could barely move shoulder, another elbowed in head and was seeing black, another.....so those that could received medals at the threshold to tent. So, they didn't handle losing with grace? Really?

You are correct. Only 11 have been personally approached and asked to come over. I assume the others will at least try being FCA will not have enough to field a team.

but since we're talking about ECNL (girls), it's actually FKK 20- OCYS 12. But we know you're avoiding that factoid. You'd think 'the best club with the best league" would do better than the little startup down the road.

What happened? Why did OCYS ECNL do no better than the "regular" clubs in signing girls?

Why don't you compare yourself to wff. They weren't hit by internal strive to the extent that Orlando was. They didn't have hue and still got a unc signing.

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....because you took all the ECNL girls and started your own club last year??? You don't think that would impact our numbers do you?????

So let me get this straight. You don't like OC, you leave OC in mass and then you mock OC for not having as many NLI signings when their current ECNL girls have been playing for a whopping 6 months. Wow. talk about stacking the deck.

Let me give you a peek into what will happen next. Those MLS clubs that have DA and ECNL are announcing over 60 NLI commitments. That is more than OC and FKK combined. That is where we set the bar. We may only sign 40 next year. But the goal is much more than you can even comprehend because OC is a national club and you are a community organization. That is why we treat you like the little cockroaches that you are.

You only have one view of youth soccer and it was molded by HM. Open your eyes, take a cruise around the web and see what established DA and ECNL clubs are doing. They are the epicenter of excellence in youth soccer not just in their community but in their region. You can't argue the point. You may get in a few cheap shots this year because we had some growing pains. How many parents are going to be aware of 2012 when they see 40+ kids at next year's NLI party?

So you can have your ODP stars, you can have your 12 girls get NLI. Our scope of what this area should produce is far beyond anything you have ever dreamed. Like the earlier poster noted, CFK recruiting was abysmal prior to your girls playing ECNL. It will return to that level and then you will become a feeder club just like FCA, Rush and SCU are to us now. We will devour you FKK. HM already has his exit plan in place because he knows he can't compete with a MLS Club that has ECNL and DA. He just hasn't told you yet.

On a positive note, keep up the Fun Fridays and Kraze Daze! We need more kids getting into soccer. Get them all coached up so we can take them when they are ready to play in the big leagues. Sucks to be our bee-otch don't it?

Update 27 to 24 (with more on the way). Might just surpass the 27...what do you say then when a first year startup surpasses the Club with all the advantages? No way to spin that.

I hope your "tougher" quote is in relation to playing and not the injuries because if you are making light of a bright young soccer star suffering a knee injury, you are lower than the lowest toad crap at the bottom of the pond. No actually you are lower than the carp that eats toad crap at the bottom of the pond.

In relation to the ECNL patches, they are great players with a very bright future. Next year they walk into U14 ECNL with a year of national playing experience under their belt. I fully expect that team to be one of the first we send to ECNL Nationals. And they won't be 3 and out like your one team was last year.

Yes. The ECNL players just signed are going to schools like Stetson, Nova, USF, St. Leo. So what? these are good schools and everyone is proud of their accomplishments. I think it's great that the OCYS ECNL staff is reaching out to these schools. not every player wants ACC.

However you can justify it to sleep at night.....startup secures ACC, SEC and even Ivy League talent to college and the mighty ECNL club the best they can do it USF??? And you call that better?

But since you mention it, WFF is a good club, and as close to the model of what an ECNL startup should look like as you'll find in Florida. The point is the "strife" you mention was caused by the incompetence and pathetic management at OCYS.
