So what about OCYS. ECNL is by far the best for girls soccer. Just because Orlando is messed up does not mean the league is bad, because it is better than anything else we have seen and we have seen what went on in the past. When OYSC improves and other FL clubs get ECNL get your daughter there!

How much longer should my daughter wait for OCYS to improve? She's 16 now. I don't think OCYS is worth the risk.

ECNL is the best league in the USA for girls soccer. All the rest are distant seconds. I want my kids playing at the highest level.

I'd rather my daughter enjoy soccer and play closer to home rather then traveling up and down the Southeast playing average competition. If you really want the best competition you should move out West and play real competition. The Southeast ECNL division for Girls is below standards. Good luck!

When exactly IS that? When you start at zero and improve .00000001 is that enough for you? The girls recruit in a very small window of time……I hope you and yours understand that

What is wrong with the girl's program at OCYS? I now have to think twice about the future as this weekend's performance at the FCA tournament was horrible. Can the former FCA coaches now at OCYS win a game? ECNL or not I need to see development and my eyes were opened this week. Great job FCA.

I noticed the same thing. Makes you wonder, with all OC had going for them, what on earth happened???

It will start by putting programs into place for the younger teams. Results will be seen in the next few years. Great place for a high-level player to develop and be tested against the best clubs/players in the nation.

They were not substandard when they were kicking your girl's tails last year when they played for OCYS. Now that they are FKK, they love to pan how bad the league is that beat them like a drum. Quick, quick...change the subject to NLI day.

OCYS a place to be developed...what a joke. Check out u11 girls record. Wow!!!!! And where were the u10s??? They have development all wrong. Seems to me they would rather use ECNL as a way to recruit talent rather than actually develop any talent.

So I guess since we have to wait another "few years", my current u16 is SOL, huh? i agree with the other guy- this club was handed the best opportunity in youth club history on a silver platter. the leagues, the facilities the players the coaches- everything. All they've done is piss it away.

Well, the fact is tht last year's cumulative goal differential was about one-fifthe of this year's, and the W/L/D record was better.

And since you brought it up- over 20 FKK 2014 players are preparing to sign on NLI Day. And they're up to 7 2015's committed- just under half the team.

Let's not also forget about the U12, U13 and U14 age groups. For U12 they might just be the 4th best team in Orlando after this past weekend. The U13 team has great many quality girls but cannot win a tournament for whatever reason spanning two years. There is no real U14 team as the ECNL team is made up mostly of the U13 girls that can't even consistently win in their own age group. So what changes will OCYS be making as clearly what is in place isn't working for the younger girls?

Wrong, wrong, wrong. You are delusional. Much better experience this year and teams are climbing in the ranks. In fact, when June comes around, you just might see some Orlando teams playing in the ECNL championships.

BTW - All your commits were discovered while playing ECNL for OC. So don't play the HM card. Look at the far right column and see all the ECNL and ID2 creds. They did not get those playing friendlies against Creeks and the Japanese teams.

If you have any doubt, then show up to the fields of SSC and show them you have more talent. You will be rewarded with free DA and ID2 training. As a female, you will be playing in front of 400 college coaches at ECNL showcases throughout the year. Compare that with what you have now which is a number at ODP and perhaps a few Disney Showcases under your belt. More than likely, you are not exactly a household name among college coaches or Top Drawer. Not to worry young lady. Just try out for ECNL next year and you will have an overflowing email account.

Of course you can stay with your current team if you feel you have the right stuff to win it all....which is exactly what it will take to get noticed by the 25 coaches at State Cup.

The choice is yours grasshopper.

Thank you for confirming that OCYS has no plan nor desire to develop girls...just to recruit talent developed at other clubs by dangling the ECNL card. I hope these girls find a program that believes in actual training and development!!!
