If my sons were good enough to play in the DA and an MLS DA at that, we would jump at the chance!

An MLS DA means the players will have to contribute little to nothing towards the cost of being a member, and week in week out, get to play the best teams in the Nation. This is an absolutely amazing opportunity. Be as critical as you want, but if your son has a passion for the game where else would you want them playing??

We've been hearing this for awhile now. When will we see results? Some of the boys are in their second season. There's only so much time for them to be recruited. How much longer should we wait?

Look- we know last year was a disaster. Everybody knows it. It's been beaten to death. We said things would be fixed this year- but okay the problems were bigger than we thought. So we're planning some really major improvements for next year. I'm telling you- 2014, we'll have it all running smoothly- or at least smoother. But remember everything's relative, right?

By the way- did you hear we got MLS? Go Lions!

I guess kids quitting and Rush severing ties with OC isn't bad enough for you. Win/Loss records being good doesn't mean that there aren't problems. Last year this time the U16 team was top 10 in the country, look what happened the rest of the season. They only took 12 players to the finals. OC lost all of the U18 but a couple last year, we will see if it happens this year too, it has already started. The same people that tried to deceive the US Soccer officials last year are still here, I don't think they have changed.

His long now, you mean 1 year and a half? Do you even know who has been recruited? Probably not because not everyone post everything on talking soccer like some. Please don't worry about DA, things have improved dramatically and that seems to upset you dramatically.

That really worries me because I thought having a kid at rush still meant you had a connection to OC. If that tie has been severed then it will influence where we try out next year. I am sorry to hear that.

You probably should ask your club before coming here for answers. If you want connection to OC then why not go straight to OC?

What a joke. The technical director is the "king" of kick and chase, long ball with one post up striker. He won an FHSAA title at Bishop Moore playing that style. It is the only style he knows. Laughable that he is going to explain the 4231 shape and style. More purple kool-aid for the MLS crowd. The sooner OCYS gets ride of GB the faster manner of the barriers to true consolidation around ECNL and DA will come down.

I don't agree with everything he or the club does, but in terms of the style that he coaches, everyone who watches his team knows they play possession style soccer. I don't know what he taught at Bishop Moore, but that isn't the way he coaches his teams now.
