I predict the College ID will be a bust as multiple tournaments that weekend in Florida that non OCYS teams will be playing in so many kids can't go even if they wanted to. DA and ECNL teams also have games that weekend so they too won't be participating. Will this be another OCYS folly?

So if you are a college coach where do you go. The Weston Cup with 400 teams or you go to the OCYS ID camp on Presidents Day? Easy answer! This camp is just another example of the club not caring about the kids. Presidents day is another weekend where kids can be challenge and get good compitition. The Purple teams need to work as many of them are future DA players. This is a pure money maker for the club. Way to go Phil!

Don't blame money bags Phil for this one. This is all CM and Rammel. They picked the date and thought they would be cute. This is youth soccer and we should be doing what is right for the kids and soccer as a whole. That weekend is wrong for an ID camp. Colleges need to be at the other events and they have a ton of kids e-mailing them to come.

I think it's the perfect date for the ID camp. Obviously, when college coaches see the scheduling conflict they will choose to attend our ID Camp. It's a no-brainer.

Because we have MLS.

Nobody kicked us to the curb- we all left out of disgust. In fact, the English asked most of us to stay, and tried to get all the coaches and our Director back, too.

We're not "outside" of anything. We're looking forward to NLI day in a couple weeks.

You have nothing we envy- just your big, loud, chest-thimping MLS marketing machine and a -120 goal differential.

What is the deal with the stinking ID camp? I can get no information about the camp. My coach sent out an e-mail but we have no idea what college coaches will be coming. The website has no list of coaches. Fun, competition and exposure to college coaches, seriously.

UCF, Rollins, Stetson are going to send out a grad assistant just like last year and just like last year they are going to go shopping at the mall.

The majority of college coaches in the local area will be at Weston and other events and it is a joke that we cannot play a tournament that weekend. The club will not allow us to and are making us either sit home or go to the ID camp.

I am going to save my $125 and enjoy a weekend with my kids.
