EQ has 3 teams why is the other team not in final 4. It takes talented kids and a talented coach. Don't kid yourself those other two teams going to final 4 had a base of 12-13 players handed over and then were tweaked with 2 -4 even stronger players. It takes both; stop kidding yourself.

No doubt he had talent to work with, but he has inserted a disciplined style of play that has made them much better. Talent will only get you so far at this level.

Sounds like HM s the coach of the ECNL teams? Where does that leave EQ and EW?

HM's not coaching anyone. He a scheduler.

The role of a DOC takes a bit of work . DOC's like HM and JA are on the field nightly working with teams; I assume the new DOC will do the same.As for GB well that's another story. He seems to care about his teams only and sorry but that's not a DOC. Should a DOC even coach a team? I personally do not think it makes sense.

So far OCYS has an Exec Director, DOC, Technical Director, Director of Operations. Still to be hired are DOCs for both girls/boys for both junior/senior academy, and DOC of rec program. That is certainly a lot of Directors and DOCs for one club!!

As you are bashing everyone on this including people that I like and don't like, think about what have done to help any cause in this area other than your own needs. Even if hm gets paid well, we don't like him whatever, he still has done something for this area, and that goes for a few of the top talked about guys. They have all played a part in where we are today. People who constantly talk about themselves or tell you in detail everything they do for this effort are who annoy me. Put the kids first and stop all this banter and backstabbing, even against other clubs. If OC does a good enough job, to quote a famous movie "if you build it, they will come".

I think 3000 kids is bit lofty but I do believe there will be over 2000. With ecnl and a solid boys side, they will need all the help they can get. It will be a large task to organize and run this size of youth club well. I think the rec side will massive because if the locations they can utilize across central Florida.

He got demoted. Just a few days ago he was listed as "Director of Coaching". Now he's "Technical Director". That sounds like a made up job to get him out of the room.

He was only a temp director until a new one accepted the position. It did get him out of the room and back on to the pitch.....so make sure to say thanks after he's made your son/daughter a more skillful player.

Sorry, but GB was not a temp director. Your notion that he took the position until they found a new one doesn't hold much water since AH was already there and if that is who was going to be in that position all along they would have said that originally. Everyone knows that he lobbied for that position even before CFK was merging officially with OC. GB was announced as the DOC, not the temp director until we decide if AH is capable of it. He is a good trainer and coach, that is probably where he fits best.

He was announced on the OCYS website as "Director of coachiong"- not "interim", not "temporary", not "seat warmer". Now, he's NOT. Instead, he's "Technical Director" which sounds like a fishy made-up position to me. Or at best it's another way to say "skills Trainer".

I am not the OP, but "the Man", really. I'm not sure who you are, thinking that he is "still the man". You must be related some how. He was just demoted and put into a position that they made up for him. He did a quick job of ******* off someone at OC. Maybe they made up this position for him since he is one of the smaller owners of OC.
