I am not the OP, but "the Man", really. I'm not sure who you are, thinking that he is "still the man". You must be related some how. He was just demoted and put into a position that they made up for him. He did a quick job of ******* off someone at OC. Maybe they made up this position for him since he is one of the smaller owners of OC.

Not saying he is "the man" overall....saying he is going to be the man on the field teaching the players. LOL! and no...I am not related, just been pleased with my player's overall performance after being trained by him.

No doubt he had talent to work with, but he has inserted a disciplined style of play that has made them much better. Talent will only get you so far at this level.

As I said before on here, he is a very good trainer and coach. He will better serve the kids by doing what he does best. He is the one that wanted the DOC position, and already had it even before the merger with CFK was a done deal. He was going to OC either way, but he must have done something to make them mad.

Well, I read that Adrian was the technical director before all this took place. Maybe having someone as DOC that doesn't have local dorks going after him might shut you up. But I am sure you will find something wrong with Adrian before the day is over.

Exactly! He is a reputable coach that won a championship his first year on with the local professional club. He is obviously a good face for the organization and DOC role. Look at all you haters out there posting " This is a great step for OCYS" and "They've earned my respect by getting rid of such and such".....It's not like they removed him from the club or even relegated him to a non imperative role. He has just as much pull and say in player development as he did before, just doesn't need to take all the abuse from disgruntled parents and TS trolls!!

Why would I find something wrong with AH. What did I say wrong about GB, I said he was a very good trainer and coach. I'm confused by you implying I said there was something wrong with GB.

You were clearly implying that the "Soccer Gods" at OCYS must be pissed off for some reason and immediatly revoked his precious title giving him some useless role of "Technical Director" which since you have never heard of must obviously be made up.

AH is a "high profile" director (at least in Central Florida) that puts a big name in this position with "A" License certifications and professional marketing strategy for the club. He is a great coach which I don't think anyone can argue, but the curriculum and every day implementation making the OCYS teams better is going to come from the "Technical or Skills Trainer" that you so sarcastically pointed out. He may not be presented as the "Lead" guy but rest assured he will still be the man.....like it or not.

So GB is to be a high-profile, imperative, indispensable, über-training Mac-daddy in charge of player development. He'll be doing what he does 'best'- moulding young bodies and minds in the art of the beautiful game...

But he won't be accountable to parents.

The compensation for the OCYS Technical Director will be equivalent to the compensation for the OCYS Directors of Coaching.

Really? I would think a guy with only a C license would be worth a little less than a guy with Heath's credentials and track record.
