Originally posted by unregistered View Postagreed. Northeast florida now has great options to play high level youth soccer. Despite all the crap and club bashing both jfc and fesa do a good job. Jfc has had lots of success in ecnl and now fesa is very rapidly rising as one of the best clubs in the state too. We should all be thankful of the opportunities whether it's da, ecnl, npl or whatever.

If the Armada pro team is no longer giving money to the youth club, when will we find out how much more we will have to pay in the upcoming season? How much will the annual new uniform cost this year?

It was originally thought that our units were to last 3 yrs. so no annual uni but we are in yr 2 of the same ones. If you are new to the club, expect $350-400 for the whole kit.
Thanks

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostDear JFC,
I have following for days both JFC and FESA threads. A lot of stupidity and nonsense from both sides. But also a lot of interesting ones.
Lets go back in time.
It is kind of surprising how the JFC threads tends to disappear whenever the finalcial issues shows up. I understand that a $400,000 dept is something you do not want your families to know, but you also have to realize that people is not stupid and, eventually, they will find out. Some coaches might hide it for a while but eventually, after some weeks not getting paid, they will start asking questions, and worse than that, telling people. Most of them will just stop coaching.
What will you say then? Will you say is all FESA lies? That answer will not work forever.
Lets talk about those coaches now. You know that most of the south staff is moving to FESA. You can say is just "low teams coaches" and people might believe it. But you know is not true. Your top young teams coaches are moving and they are bringing the kids with them. You are about to lose a whole age group at PV, important one, since is actually stronger than in the north. The big problem for you is that once they are at FESA, they will compare what they get at FESA with what they had... and they will talk. Once they do so, the rest of the south will move too, leaving Davis Park empty.
I also saw these last days how you were using ED as an example (often compares with the "evil" SB). Lately He does not appear that often so I am wondering why that might be. I understand that is a bad moment to announce that the leader of the academy might get fired for his incompetence. You keep saying is all lies and deceiving from FESA but is going to happen. And is going to happen soon. What will you say then?
We can also talk about the pro-team: Armada. You just need a call to find out the truth about this. And thats why you do not deny it anymore. Next year JFC will be JFC again, and not Armada. Now you are saying that is not a big deal, cause you do not need them and you can be as great as you were without them. But the truth is that without the support from the pro-club, your financial situation gets worse. Way worse.
So you are turning to Clay.
Clay County. Or about the big announcement you were going to make this week. Everybody knows that you were trying to announce that JFC and Clay are merging to create some kind bigger club. There are two problems with this. Problem one: Clay people does not want it. Problem two: LT just want it to steal all your girls and take them to DA. He Does not care at all about JFC or the rest of the players/families. Some JFC people know that and they are not sure about doing it. ED is pushing it cause he thinks is the only way to save the situation, but the board does not trust him anymore. I dont blame them. They know LT is just a rec coach, a bad one.
Finally, take a look at FESA.
Two years ago nobody knew and nobody at JFC even cared about that merge between Creeks and JYSC. It was a rec club they said. They will never achieve nothing.
But they had a plan and they had a strategy. They built a solid coaching staff and and they started developing their project.
In two years they changed the Jacksonville Youth Soccer situation. Not bad for a rec club.
You cannot do that without the suport of the families. Nobody goes anymore to JFC, but now JFC families come to FESA. and this year was the worst.
And now is too late for JFC.
Take care,
A.

Fees
Not familiar with what you're talking about? Fees...with no major announcement, other than SB saying they hadn't raised prices in 2 years...just like that, all newly rebranded competative classifications have been increased $250.00 without much debate or fanfare. SB is smart, he's been keeping prices low to attract talent. Once he has that talent, and can afford to...the ecnl $$$ will cost what it costs elsewhere.
