I'm confused. Why is the ECNL site not posting scores? Scores don't matter? Teams don't want to take a chance at looking bad because of a scoreline? My daughter is an 08 at a local ECNL club and this just seems odd.

They don't post scores as showcase events are meant to get as many ecnl girls seen as possible. Not counting/posting scores is their attempt to get coaches to give weaker players more minutes.
ECNL does post the scores on their app but deletes them shortly after showcase.

Is this new? I remember in ECNL, the original, not the reboot, the games actually counted toward post season play and seeding. So scores mattered and were posted.

Is it mandatory that all players must see time during these events. It should be.

Seeding is done now strictly through league play.
There is no mandate but for the most part coaches follow the intent.

^^^^ U-Little parent right here that doesnt know what he is talking about! ^^^^. Can you imagine how weak their opponents really are though getting brutalized by this neighborhood team? Yikes!

truth - obviously something needs to be done about the way the showcases are "seeded" playing weak teams is a waste of time & money
