Wait you telling yelling underwater constantly isn’t going to make you heard??

I feel like this thread is more of a therapy session. Same posts day in day out. I’m not saying I believe you or don’t believe you but the repetitiveness makes this feel more like a self help group. It’s kind of sad.

Also, most PIAA schools do play on the weekends. An ECNL team should be having 3 training sessions each week, and then there are some travel weekends. It becomes difficult for a HS coach to make everything at an ECNL level. Sure, it can be done, just not well without a consistent coaching staff that provides seamless coverage, and FC Bucks do not function that way. The ECNL training schedule should be set and shouldn’t be changed. The U12, 13 and 14 ECNL teams should be training at the same site, at the same times, and the coaches should be working together. A staff of coaches.

The better clubs have a staff of coaches that work together and make all the sessions and games, or at least work together as a staff to make sure there is proper coverage. Without a proper coaching staff, and coach rotation, quality coverage doesn't work. The staff needs to know the kids, and the kids the staff. Practices work if everyone is on the same page. FC Bucks don’t work as a club, they work as single teams, and that isn’t how it works at advanced clubs. Players belong to a club, and the team functions within the club, and the club works to provide the best service to the players within the club. Does that happen at FC Bucks? I know the answer... This is the standard at PDA, Match Fit, Cedar Stars, Penn Fusion and FC Delco. Even if those clubs have a college or high school coach on staff, the parents and players don’t even recognize that that coach isn’t present at times. Is that the current situation at FC Bucks? If you notice, most of the better clubs have as many as 4 coaches sitting on the bench during games. Those 4 coaches are all connected to the weekly training sessions for the various age groups. The girls know all the those coaches. That is normal at most clubs. Does that happen at FC Bucks? Do you notice a quality coaching staff?

Do FC Bucks want to be one of the better clubs, or continue to be one of the worst clubs playing in the ECNL? The stats show FC Bucks were in the bottom 10 of the entire league last year. None of the teams advance to a trophy winning playoff. Doesn’t seem that players are the issue at the club, it seems more like a lack of leadership that knows how to operate an ECNL program. For someone with experience, these are simple changes and the club can be quickly fixed.
Give me a break. At the younger ages (sub HS), he might need coverage for away games on saturday every other week (which amounts to 3 or 4 games total, MAX) during his HS season. Other than that, he can easily manage 3x practices per week and most games. If his HS team practices at 2:30-4 every day, give him 7 pm practices on most days where he does not have HS games (M, W, Th) and move the few that conflict. HS soccer games mostly done by 1 pm on Saturdays so play home games after 3 PM. It really is not very difficult.

It has seemed to be difficult at times. Maybe if the coverage was better it would be as much of an issue. Maybe you are right, maybe there isn't a problem.

How is that 3x practices per week thing going?

3 or 4 games total? What kind of coverage is the club going to be provided for those games? Seems like a lot of games to miss in a fall season. Does the coach meet the ECNL standards? They aren't going to have a parent fill in, are they?

What kind of coverage is being provided this season when coaches can't make a scheduled session?

How many games were missed last season, and what kind of coverage was provided for those games?

Serious question: how has this been heard?
What changes have been made as a result of talking soccer posts?
Give specifics please or your post was just BS.

I did last year and was turned away. I guess questioning the Executive Directors value was too much too soon@

Ironic that the ECNL crowd is begging for what the DA requires.

It was already being done at Penn Fusion and Delco before there was a GDA. Bucks needs to catch up.

Not sure it’s being heard by the club, but for sure the small soccer community knows all about the problems with the 2006 ECNL girls. Word travels fast and most have heard to stay away. Which is why there was very little new talent at tryouts last year, and for sure they won’t be anymore this year. Actually very sad for the team, the girls deserve better.

Stayed away from the DA in the past bc my kid wanted to play high school, but with the problems at bucks and delco may have to consider it now.

Does the DA allow non professional parent coaches?
                        How many practices a week?
How often is feedback and evaluations given to players?

Any other info you have that would be helpful.

                        Thanks.

                          Excellent points.

The coverage the club provides is the parent coach. Sure they provide a paid bucks coach to stand on the sidelines, but this coach doesn’t know the kids. So in fact the person coaching when RF can’t make it is BB.

Going back to May last year until present RF has missed five games. We have lost four of the five. Going back to last fall and the results are the same we lose most of the games BB coaches. Clearly the parent coach aspect is not working.

A staff of coaches would benefit this team and all the teams.

It’s not sad for the team. Are the girls on this team sad because “very little new talent at tryouts last year”?? Or are YOU sad because of this? We both know the answer to that question. The girls are out there having fun. Take a lesson from them.

And if your kid is truly “sad” over tryouts and talent then move her to a place where she can be happy. Problem solved.

You are vicious and completely missed the point, it will be sad if at some point this results in not having enough kids to field a competitive team... that is what was meant by the girls deserve better. They are talented. Right now we have 14 healthy players if some players leave or get hurt without new players to take their place the team will start to limp along like all the other FC bucks team. And that would be sad and a waste of some really good talent.

Still not seeing how any of this is “sad”. First you are talking about youth soccer— you know where kids are out there having fun with their friends. If girls move to other teams in the future because of the reasons you state then that’s ok too. It’s not a waste of “good talent” unless you are saying they can only be talented when wearing a bucks jersey. That talent will transfer to other teams. You are way too into your daughter’s soccer team IMO.
