BB has been around for years and has laid the groundwork for this manipulation and will continue to manipulate as long as he is at CRUSA....he still has a younger daughter that is now playing FC Bucks....writing on the wall.....

He is so entrenched that something so simple and so obvious - that no ecnl level teams should have a dad coach - becomes so hard for the leadership of this club to fix.

Maybe RF and BB think that since most of the girls do outside training (that the parents pay for), that you only need 1 practice per week...because why you want to work on what went wrong in the 5-0 loss.....

Bucks defenders you’ve been quiet tonight. Are you happy with our one practice this week after the drubbing we took against world class? It’s ok if RF had to miss tonight but senior night had to be known for weeks - why wasn’t practice rescheduled for last night or tomorrow?
We could be just as good as world class if we trained as much as they do - we have the athletes we just need the training.

Bucks defenders you’ve been quiet tonight. Are you happy with our one practice this week after the drubbing we took against world class? It’s ok if RF had to miss tonight but senior night had to be known for weeks - why wasn’t practice rescheduled for last night or tomorrow?
We could be just as good as world class if we trained as much as they do - we have the athletes we just need the training.

Practice wasn't rescheduled because RF has checked out and BB is waiting for RF to LEAVE....BB wants all of the power.....RF should not be able to have practice at Villa....especially since the tuff is being paid for by dues...anyone going to run for the board???

The best thing that could happen to this team, is that effective immediately, BB was no longer permitted to coach or manage this team. If he still wants to volunteer his time and coach, I am sure there are many CRUSA teams that would love to have him coach, but that would require him to act selflessly, and we all know he is in it for his own daughter's interest and nothing else.

The second best thing that could happen to this team is the club removing RF as coach, and replacing him with someone who is actually dedicated to his or her team. I get that there are HS conflicts, but every other HS coach who also coaches a club team seems to be able to work around those conflicts, and make alternative arrangements when they cant. RF just doesnt care enough to do this. Thats on him. He knew he had senior night at Villa for weeks, perhaps months. And what did he do with that information - nothing. Did he secure a backup coach. No? Did he try and reschedule? No. He happily just took out money and said **** you.

She might. But she might not. But at least she would learn to stand in her own. To succeed or fail on her own. No daddy to prop her up. In my book that’s a good thing. I think the more important question is why does BB hold on so tight and not want to let go. What is he afraid of?

Brian is a good guy, and if he is doing this out of a pure love of volunteering his time, then he really should just coach a CRUSA team. If he is coaching this team because his daughter is on it, well then it is obvious where his interests lie - with his daughter, and not with the team. What happens when one of our daughters are competing with his daughter for playing time in a key game where a college coach happens to be looking at both - are you ok with him making the call who plays more and who doesnt?

And the parents on the team knew after last year with the same issues what they were getting this year.....what would have happened if no one accepted an invite....this is no surprise this year....

Does this dad coach coach other teams? Or is it just his daughter’s? Trying to understand what his motives are and why everyone is so upset.

If he is coaching this team because his daughter is on it, well then it is obvious where his interests lie - with his daughter, and not with the team. What happens when one of our daughters are competing with his daughter for playing time in a key game where a college coach happens to be looking at both - are you ok with him making the call who plays more and who doesnt?

The problem with FC Bucks is they are not run like a club. Teams at FC Bucks function independently, and that isn’t how proper ECNL and DA programs are run. Clubs with a real DOC and technical director would never let what is happening with the 06 team go on and a properly run club would make it so something like this couldn’t happen. This type of thing happens at Philly Soccer Club or Warrington, not at an ECNL or DA club. People pay to play at the ECNL clubs to get something more advanced, and right now we are functioning like any other town club. Right now we aren’t much different than a Warminster or Southampton, other than significantly higher costs!
