Sorry but I’m not deflecting and being very honest with you. That is the value for me personally. It pisses the right people off in my humble opinion.

        Question

Serious question here: how do we feel about a step-dad asst coaching? Or better yet let’s say the ‘dad’ wasn’t around for the past 10 years because he was out on the left coast chasing tail. But he recently moved back to bucks country and wants to help coach his daughters ecnl soccer team to get back into good graces with his daughter (and also his Quizno’s sub shop folded). So he’s not really a dad to her one could say, so would that be ok with you jokers? Or is this still a no go?

ECNL and GDA are really good in terms of exposure, and if you are going to spend the money, no better return in youth soccer. USYS costs the same, sometimes more, and very little return. FC Bucks is run like a rec club.

ECNL has a really good Conference Selection and National Selection program - the rosters are online -out of something like 50 girls, there are only 3 FC Bucks players. There are some parents on here who are paying for a Ferrari, and instead are being given a Honda. That alone would be sad. But these parents who got the Honda, despite everyone around them seeing that it is clearly a Honda, have convinced themselves that there ****ty Honda is really a Ferrari.

The blind loyalty to FF on here is astounding.

You get close to 5K but not quite there. $7k is really extreme.

Yes it can be expensive but you can pay around $3000 for clubs like Ukies/Warrington/rush in the area and play very low level soccer which is why people chose ecnl clubs. My son played for both through the years and there is a big difference between ecnl and local level.

                          Dues -$2400
                          Registration -$385
                          Uniform - $200
WAGS, Jeff Cup, SC showcase, and approximately 3 overnight weekends for regular ECNL games (MA, CT, MD) average hotel night is $200 x 10 nights = $2000
                          Airfare for 2 to SC - $700

When you add gas, tolls and food you are just around $6000

And of course as the girls get older there are more showcases and possible ECNL playoff trips - figure airfare and hotel for those will roughly be $1500-$2000 a trip. You will be well over $7000 and nearing $10000.

Yea been there. Go play low level soccer for $3000 at ukies/Warrington/rush then. You will see the difference. Believe me. Ecnl is best league in country for girls. DA for boys.

And by the way the SC showcase was something the Dad Assistant wanted, not FF. The notion of a U13 college showcase is absurd.

Newsflash . . . When your FC Bucks and your coached by a Dad Assistant who is barely qualified to coach intramural teams YOU ARE LOW LEVEL SOCCER, regardless of what league you are playing in.
