Sadly it's a pocket of lunatic dads that have nothing better to do than start drama on this forum. I am sure the dads with a functional brain know scores at 11 yrs of age mean nothing. Also, scoring off blunders in the box during a corner kick isn't a shattering win.

Yes Real lost Saturday night 8-2 to Philly Union they played 11v11. Philly is just on another level not many teams have the depth of a Philly team at this age. Most teams have maybe a solid starting 11 let's be honest Philly has 15 top level players. Philly Union and Red Bull are the gold standard for teams at this age.
Real did beat PDA today you can say white or blue either way they share players. The team Real beat was the same team Red Bull beat the day before 3-1. You can not like the goals Real scored and called them blunders in the box. Call them whatever you want Real put two in the back of the net. The one thing PDA did was not even get one-shot on net all game, and the entire second half PDA barely crossed midfield. So maybe that is why someone said it was a shattering win! Yes just looking at the score hard to say that but when one team never gets a shot off or barely cross mid field the second half.
Why can't people just agree the 2011 age group is a loaded age group of top level talent and the u12 Aclea league could be the hardest top to bottom league in the country for this age group.

What teams would it make sense for me to look into that are a step below the CSAs and TSF level?
I know CSA and TSF have multiple 2011 teams each but I got a lot of advice from people I trust w/ older kids to avoid B or C teams at the bigger clubs so I'm less interested in CSA or TSF currently.
Thanks

Real beat a poor PDA B team 2-0 early morning down in Medford. It was not a shattering win. It was ugly. One goal was an own goal scored off a defenders face that caused him to leave the game injured. It happens. PDA did not do much offensively and struggled to break down Reals low block defensively. They had a couple near chances on defensive / GK errors but not much. Real finished their chance. Most teams also struggle to break down that many defenders sitting back on a smaller size field. Ugly game. That was the Liverpool teams style and only claim to get results. Play everyone on defense and hope to score and not lose. Seems like they have brought that style over to Real. Real does well on their home field and struggles everywhere else. That’s an emphasis on wins/losses over development with the low block.
As for Philadelphia Union beating Real on Saturday night 8-2, it was a one sided game. When you need 3 / 4 defenders to cover a small sided field and then jump into a full sided field, the defensive holes and weakness are exposed. All the pockets of space the defenders can’t cover laterally because they need extra help small sided gets exploited when there is a bigger field. You can’t play with 8 defenders at 11v11. They should ignore results and worry about developing. Other teams also have played Philadelphia Union both 9v9 and 11v11 and don’t get embarrassed off the field like that performance. The same PDA team only lost 4-0 to them in the Fall for reference. Let’s also not pretend like Union haven’t lost to other 2011 teams this year as well and not just a Red Bull team. While they are very, very good, there are several other teams on the same level. Just these teams aren’t there.

It's one Real dad posting for both sides. Nobody gives a rats ass about an 11 yr old soccer game. Couple of two faced characters in that Monmouth/Real crew crom Liverpool that hype up their kids. You can see the sadness of their social media posting.

It’s pathetic how parents/mostly adult men make fun of teams when they lose. This thread keeps on picking on Union, then switched to FA, then former Bloomfield, then CSA Monmouth and now Real. You don’t hear a beat when they win. At least no one has talked about Union or FA for awhile now. Maybe we are heading in the right direction, or maybe the fire inside the burnt settled down a bit.

The teams that are buyers like CSA Monmouth, Real, PDA and STA will garner much more attention.
I wonder where that stupid cowbell from Liverpool ended up?

2011 groups are going to be all split up eventually and this forum will quiet down. There will be group that has no interest in keeping up with other teams since the focus of that group (true MLS academies and those close to that level) will be to continue on with academy, get into the starting 11, get called up to US national team camps, and eventual pro homegrown contracts or college scholarships. Then there's the group that still cares about the week to week results of U12, U13 games beyond what they mean for development and getting retained on a team. By U15 the mls and non mls groups are basically separated aside from GA tournament and some crossover games.
