Exactly they have players from all different leagues on their roster. I am assuming you agree with me that colleges don't care what league you play in.

Never said any of that, in fact, USYS has proven to be a very formidable platform. There have been plenty of USYS NL teams along the way that were by and large stronger than their ECNL counterparts of the same age. NPL was also a pretty good league that provided great local competition. The only one calling these leagues "loser leagues" is you.

My comment was a response to someone claiming we should give GAL a chance because it's brand new and other platitudes that are synonymous with the failed GDA, that had stronger clubs, NT player draw & USSF backing. But yes, I'm sure "GDA lite" is going to be a rousing success. Just look at the clubs they're attracting like the Ukranian Nationals, who are ABSOLUTELY AWFUL in the lowest tiers USYS/EDP has to offer.

Ukranian Nationals being accepted is an absolute joke....most of their girls teams can barely compete in the secondary tiers of EDP. How are they elite and how will playing against inferior competition help the Jersey clubs??? Really disappointed to see as I want my kid to be challenged and I don’t think beating Ukranian 3,4,5 - 0 every time we play them will accomplish that.

Better than fine it will be great. People just need to relax, let the kids be kids and trust the process! The GAL academies are non profit organizations and are only looking out for the best interest of the kids and nothing else. Your enjoyment and success is their number one priority.

Even the GDA girls if you dig down came from former ECNL clubs that turned to GDA. ECNL has anywhere from 65-80% of the major college leagues and dominate the final 4. You can't deny that fact. Sure, players do come from other leagues and I have said before you don't need ECNL to get to a top college program but it does make it easier.
