[QUOTE=Unregistered;2710709]Nice suggestion. I looked at Princeton University Women's Team roster. There are currently 19 players on it:
15 played ECNL
1 played DA
3 - either insufficient information or neither ECNL nor DA.
Two of the 19 players went to high school in NJ. Both played for PDA.

Exactly they have players from all different leagues on their roster. I am assuming you agree with me that colleges don't care what league you play in.

My comment was a response to someone claiming we should give GAL a chance because it's brand new and other platitudes that are synonymous with the failed GDA, that had stronger clubs, NT player draw & USSF backing. But yes, I'm sure "GDA lite" is going to be a rousing success. Just look at the clubs they're attracting like the Ukranian Nationals, who are ABSOLUTELY AWFUL in the lowest tiers USYS/EDP has to offer.

Why so many posts trying to convince people ecnl is best? I don’t get it. It can’t be parents, It has to be reps from the clubs posting all this nonsense. Guys, no one cares. Don’t be so paranoid about this new league. Your clubs will be fine. It’s going to be ok. Really.

Lol. So true. I like when they say “I wouldn’t want my daughter.” what parent would waste their time to post that about a league? Who gives a crap? These club reps must think we’re idiots.

Even the GDA girls if you dig down came from former ECNL clubs that turned to GDA. ECNL has anywhere from 65-80% of the major college leagues and dominate the final 4. You can't deny that fact. Sure, players do come from other leagues and I have said before you don't need ECNL to get to a top college program but it does make it easier.
