Stay away until your kid actually needs the ECNL platform…don’t buy the story that they need to be there from U13 on. I don’t know why anyone moans about the 11 team. It’s the National Championship bracket, you should be wanting to play against the best players. It’s their 2013 team that’s crazy. Their top 2 players from North are on the roster playing in the Presidents Cup. Why would the club/parents want this? They’re playing against Clubs B teams and town teams. If you added any A team players to their B teams they would probably win games. Go take a look online at squadi and the rosters for their 2013 team, anyone that knows this age group will know the players that have been added to the roster so congratulations to Matchfit Fit Essex for getting another state cup in your first year from in my opinion, cheating but who am I other than a frustrated parent that feels like my kid had a chance at her level to maybe win a state cup and was taken that away by a club that has no moralsComment

2011 national championship series is probably same level as presidents cup at this point. As time goes on the state cups become less and less competitive since players move to the teams with badges. The 2011 iron bound team is not top level, it’s not even close. They would be a low end rl team playing in NE and likely losing. Again National Championship bracket you should want the best teams in it. No ones mad Sjeb are in it when no other pre GA teams are. The fact those 2 13s are playing in the presidents cup is embarrassing on Matchfit. A story was posted with 17 players and 3 of them from the ECNL team playing state cup. I know my kids level, she’s on a b team and I just wanted her to have a fair chance against teams like ours. 2 of the kids didn’t come off the field and scored all the goals in our game. Why weren’t they on the Matchfit team that was in the NCS bracket???Comment
