They do. Just don’t retain them long term. The 2012s always had a hard time attracting talent. CSA has the better 2012 team so all the talent will go there instead of MFS or PSA Monmouth.

Aside from acquiring whole teams I disagree with you.

What don’t you agree with? The fact that 2012 CSA is better than talent than MFS or PSA?? Or do you disagree with MFA not retaining good players??? Both are true.

Only the players who can’t make other teams.

They attract players at the younger ages. Some can probably play ECNL or are border line ECNL level. Most of those players leave MFS by u13/u14

The club continues to seek ways to improve itself and is excited about the collaboration taking place between the sites. There is a committment to improve and learn from past experiences to better shape the future. New leadership, networking opportunities, and self reflection have led to innovative ideas that always keep the players front and center in the decision making process. The future of the sport and game is ahead with so many different professional events occurring in the tri-state area. The game will continue to grow and the club is ready to take the next step. Good things await!!!

They seem to be improving by giving opportunities to the top couple of girls to play with Morris. And now MFA select. But other than that… most players won’t benefit from that stuff.

Actually Mercer had more opportunities than shore ever did. This is the first time shore players are getting anything.

Shore stole our 09 ECNL spot!

You can’t attract talent to the 2012 team when you don’t have a good coach or a plan. It’s that simple. They haven’t had good coaching for this age group almost since inception.

Is that what you want to hang your hat on for the academy prices these parents are paying for their kids to get real soccer training? They already lost a bunch of talented girls to other clubs where they will thrive. As for the rest, they are stuck with poor coaching and a Director that could care less about this shore team. That has been demonstrated over the last few years and nothing is going to change that. So they can make up these ‘Beat of the Best’ teams, but it is all a sham to keep the parents from moving their kids to better clubs where there will be coached to play the game the right way.
