I get the sense all of these leagues are going to extend their "pre-" leagues to U12, but a lot of these clubs will also play EDP. I keep hearing NAL will or APL will move farther north and ECNL already has Pre-ECNLII for ECRL teams in New EnglandOriginally posted by Guest View PostComment

Bloomfield Thunder 7-0-2 (Premier 3 North)
Clark Comets 9-0-0 (Premier 5 North)
TSF Academy 5-0-3 (Premier 6 North)
MFA Mercer White 6-0-1 (Premier 6 South)
How would Bloomfield do a flight up, Clark 2-3 flights up, MFA Mercer B and TSF 2-3 flights up?Comment

Overall, Bloomfield would not get results in Prem 2 which would eventually get them back to Prem 3 and Clark should just go up a flight. MFA Mercer B and TSF should only go up a flight at best.Comment

I think someone is looking at scores and doesnt realize how significant the drop off is with a lot of those teams. Some of the Prem 3 and 4 teams are very good, but make mistakes in the back or have a few players that make sloppy touches and turn the ball over. Some of them can hang with higher teams and lose closer games.Originally posted by Guest View Post

Bloomfield could actually beat any of the teams in Prem 3 except Crush, Torpedoes and PDA would pick them apart.
A lot of those teams that have good records have aggressive teams that capitalize on teams lack of passing accuracy, bad touches or mistakes in the back. Those Prem 2 and most Prem 3 teams just dont do that.Comment

My mistake. Clark ties Torpedoes B but beats the other 3 you said. They beat Berna in a close game and FA B and PSA in a 2-3 goal game. Clark just took advantage of the lower level of play. Bloomfield #1 from Prem 3 would beat Clark the same way they did against Europa and STA B.Originally posted by Guest View Post
Bloomfield cannot beat any team in Prem 2 except STA MOSC and a draw to Westfield. They would have a close 1 goal loss against Bridgewater and Kearny but after that they get demolished in 2+ goal loss. They also already lost 4-3 to a low Prem 2 team which is Bridgewater.

The last sentence here is the only sane words typed. If this team played this one and that one played that one and so forth. All a club, coach , team and player can do is train is hard as they can and compete in the games to the best of the teams ability. If you win a lot of games they will move you up a flight. That’s it! So many of these scenarios are just crazy. I can go into tons of example and details but it’s a waste. Develop get better and win games.Originally posted by Guest View PostComment

Lower flight players are most likely looking to move on. Find better teams and players that are usually a bit more skilled but even more committed to soccer specifically. This is even more of a common thing with second flight or B team players. Some are crazy parents thinking their child falsely deserves to be playing up and some are legit kids stuck being the best on a B team looking for more of a challenge or to be pushed. After first flight drop off is big. Just check the history. Some clubs are 1 or 2 kids away from top tier. Kid gets sick or has a lacrosse game and things drop off. Just how it is.Comment
