CSA Monmouth teams will be taking a step down in competition from what they played in the spring. You can research and look the teams up. These closed off leagues aren’t all they are cracked up to be. Pre GA is not a good league. EDP provides better competition.
STA was mid pack EDP1
South Shore Select and NEFC are top EDP 2 / bottom EDP 1 level.
Seacoast is mid EDP 2 level
CSA Bergen was bottom of EDP 3
Oakwood is very close to Bergen level
Long Island SC is mid EDP 3
NewYork SC is a top EDP 3 level team
Syracuse is a bottom EDP 3 level team

The level of play in the Pre-GA League for CSA Monmouth will be way lower than what they previously played in EDP U11 Fall and Spring.
I’d expect the top 5 in the league to finish like this..
1. CSA Monmouth A
2. CSA Monmouth B
3. STA MUSC
4. South Shore
5. NEFC
Plenty of changes this fall..
CJFA is no longer a team and will be combining with MFS. Old Bridge lost many players to MFS and made dropped A team players to B team to form a team next fall. Torpedoes is making a smart play in making their A and B teams play double games in fall by making “Red 1 and 2” and “White 1 and 2”.
New Teams: Cherry Hill, Cranford, Europa Lions B, Harrison SC, Hunterdon B, Medford Strikers, NJ Stallions, Old Bridge B, Peninsula, Stafford.
Teams moving to their Pre-Leagues: CSA Monmouth A and B, MFA Morris, PDA North A and B, PDA South, STA MUSC.
Teams playing a year up in NL so far: SJEB
Teams playing a year up in EDP so far: MFA Morris, NJ Surf Marlton, Real, Wall.
crazy stuff..

Torpedoes has done that before. Very smart to get more games and playing time for the players. Even tho their RED team is a fourth flight team without their one standout player who could be playing for any team she wants . I don’t know why more clubs don’t do it.

Based upon current teams and trends
1. CSA 1
2. South Shore Select
3. STA
4. CSA 2
5. Seacoast
6. Oakwood
7. NYSC 1
8. LISC
etc.
I am a firm believer in playing at age unless you are top bracket a year up ie. FA Black. CSA 2/B would not be top bracket 11v11. I think Pre GA is a good opportunity for club and team and will test team members on the same scale for possible promotion opportunities.

The A team is a GA National championship contender at this age if they continue on their path, but a lot of talent consolidates these next two years onto GA and ECNL teams, so team makeups and results change wildly with a handful of additions The B team will probably finish respectfully in top half of the bracket handily. They are an extremely solid team that top to bottom and coached tough.
