There is no way the ACC, SEC and Big10 champ should have been in the same bracket. Horrible scheduling.

I dont understand. Coaches do not play the games, players do. FSU created very little. RU have talent, but at some point you meet equal talent and your luck runs out. RU needed more today from their bigger players to win the 1 vs 1 matchups and create something. They didnt get it tonight. Nor did FSU fwiw. FSU GK was PoTM so RU must have done something right. Justus must be wondering if she is going to play much at FSU. Maybe she can come back to NJ and replace Meg McC

Rutgers should have been in top bracket with FSU and TN.
They had the easiest route and screwed it up.

RU’s offense suffered from this tactic. In second half FSU had to put it over the top to their right winger in order to break RUs suffocating defense. Once FSU scored RU had to open up their attack and they gave FSU all that they could handle. Which is why FSU s goalie was player of the game. In order to get to the final game you have to be good and LUCKY. This was a 1-0 game. Personally I would have preferred RU go at FSU and open up the game earlier but that was not MO’s strategy. What a great season season RU had. Hopefully this is the beginning of a elite program. More girls will be recruited in the coming years from PDA and other programs. Also any college coach in the country would have wanted to be In RUs position this weekend except of course the two remaining teams. Well done RU! And remember haters are always gonna hate.

Right on, I think MO should have risked more before they went down. Once they decided to go all in they created chances an other 10 minutes of that should have netted a goal.

All true. FSU never dominated and RU was in the match to the end. As far as the future recruitment of players to a NE school will remain difficult. If an elite player has a choice of the other 3 schools Rutgers cannot match up to those locations. Unfortunately for them they will remain PDA dependent and hopefully find a top player from another State.

RU are a nice story, but where they ended up, College Cup, shows how path dependent so much of this is. They won the Big 10 regular season and deserve credit for that. The NCAA run will be hard to replicate consistently. Their last win was vs St Louis in the second round. I would love to see RU play the better teams more often.

MO placed his bet on one player Ali. She’s exceptional but FSU closed her down as her moves were predictable.

Even commentators called out the flopping during ncaa's. played a lot of games at home too, including tourney.
They had a good season and like the prior trip in 2015, it ended in semi-finals. Best of luck to the 5th yrs and those graduating and moving on. It was fun.
