On senior day they honored: Amirah Ali, Hayley Baer, Nicole Binkley, Maddie Brant, Shea Holland, Emma Huntzinger, Abby Jonathan, Adriana Kuryla, Gabby Provenzano, Meagan McClelland, and Frankie Tagliafferi.

    Are they all leaving?

If they are 5th year seniors ten they have run out of eligibility. With the NCAA granting an extra year of eligibility it’s at the discretion of the coaches if they want a 4th year senior for an extra year. The considerations are their athletic scholarships, they must be full time students and are they an asset to the program next year.

I thought any college coach (outside of his/her college season) can not directly coach a recruit or a current rostered player, even in club, unless at a camp (and even then must not spend more than 50 or 60% of time with that specific player)?

        Did this change?

Most are leaving and are out of eligibility. Btw, Brant is from UK/ England. And not Englishtown NJ.

Btw are you posting and answering hype man? The post barely hits the blog and a response is posted. You may not be able to do without removing your shoes and socks but the rest of us can count. Hahaha. GED
This thread took a nap recently. I gotta think these hype threads are the work of a staff member. Travel day so nothing has been posted.

It is okay to hype, the poster would have more credibility if he/she did not pretend to be detached to the program when hyping. Say directly connected. That's all.

If it is within 50 miles its ok. More than 50 not. Or at least that's my understanding of the rule. Lots of college coaches coach club and have their former club players on their rosters, just not to the extent PDA does. Plus he didn't coach all those players at PDA.

The extent that RU has such a dependency on PDA has to do with necessity. I would bet they are not happy about that situation. Of course in a perfect world that would get highly rated players contacting them to get recruited from all four regions but that has not happened for various reasons starting with weather in the NE. Facilities, location of the college, playing surface, etc. RU can’t compete against other competitive programs that offer a better situation who also play in the P5 conference. Great colleges like Boston College & Syracuse also have these recruitment issues. College Coaches all over the country have relationships with the top clubs in their State. This something happening everywhere not just NJ.

I don't see the 50 mile radius issue mentioned in the rules at all. I only see contact restrictions. Can you direct me to this alleged 50 mile rule? There are very clear contact dates. Obviously that would be very blurry if the recruit was being coached directly prior to those dates.

If they were acknowledged as seniors they are probably leaving, either because they ran out of eligibility or simply are ready to move on. Staying on as a 5th year needs the right set of circumstances that won't always work for the student part of "student athlete"

BC and Syracuse did not have recruitment issues because of weather before. Try that again.

And college coaches having relationships with local clubs than drawing checks from them. You don't think being the club director of coaching and assistants actually coaching and having charge of teams and recruits is a little different?

                          Not the poster

BC and Syracuse suffer from basement-itis. Top players that can make an ACC squad have better programs to chose from. So then the cellar dwellers have a hard time attracting players that can improve their competitiveness

Trying to understand contact rules. Help? It would seem that MO has contact with any and all PDA recruits through their entire lifecycle at PDA and without restriction. ?

Ask anyone who plays college sports if the schools with milder weather have an advantage?
Baseball practice in February March upstate NY is different then South Carolina. Brrrr
