There are lots of us ticked off (not just one “bitter” parent). Yes we have all said, anyone defending the actions of anyone involved in breaking of the rules has no leg to stand on. Deflect and try to shut down discussions as you may, But I am pretty sure you are on the wrong moral side of here. Good try though.

Very few are defending anything. Personally, I'm chuckling at the accusations made, of which most have little fact behind them. I'm outright laughing at the efforts some people have taken to prove a point. It must be nice to sit on such a moral mountaintop and have some much time on your hands to make sure everyone knows it.

Unbelievably, I'm almost wishing for "Coach" to come back on here and let us all know how much NH sucks at soccer. At least it could change the messages for a few days.

Have to be honest here... A few days ago I posted about you letting it go and moving along and s*ck it up (basically). I'm actually re-thinking that view. I'm actually agreeing more and more with you as the days go on. The ones that should be REALLY mad should be the ones on the same team as the players taking advantage of the situation. From the standpoint of any u15 players, yes, that's bad too, but maybe you can make the excuse that the older girls may be "grandfathered" in?? But any of the u16/u17 teammates have every right to be very mad.

Went to the link posted and went to DA roster. Looks to be the same girl. Yes they are being called out but how is that “slinging mud” if it’s trur????

No, more likely multiple parents who are pissed that some players are breaking and think their sh*t don't stink while their players followed the rules. They've every right to be angry, not only at the violator but the club as well. The "your kid wasn't good enough" comments are the lame comeback of a lame keyboard warrior like yourself.

You missed the mark entirely. It's not the HS rule at issue, particularly as they are in private school where such rules don't even apply. It's the DA violation that's the problem. The no DA while you play HS rule is crystal clear.

Grandfathering only happened last year and was only for players who already played HS varsity. Your club still had to approve it but didn't require USSF approval. This year it requires club and USSF approval with proof the player has to play to keep their financial support at a private school. Even then - and now - the rule is no DA while you play HS. It's just that simple. Can't believe anyone would try to somehow defend it, probably the parents.

...but if the player misses any high school practice or games for the DA, then it is an NHIAA violation. trinity plays in the public school league and abides by the NHIAA, and then the team would forfeit games, yes?

All of you losers must be transplants from Massachusetts. God I hope New Hampshire hasn't fallen this far. Mommy and daddy obviously never taught you this lesson so I'm going to do the job that they feel that. Life is not fair. Get used to it losers.

....fwiw, I have no connection to the girls team. I just find This Thread just horrifying at what babies we have become.

Correct. So we know she is ALREADY in violation of the most important DA rule, and if she misses ANY HS activity due to her club activities, she would be in violation of NHIAA rules. No need to twist in pretzels trying to find loopholes/excuses. Pretty crystal clear.

We had a girl at NYCFC who tried to play both last year. After she was busted, she was given a choice, she chose to play HS, since she was as a senior and already committed to Brown University. She was also not allowed to rejoin after her HS season ended, she made her bed.

Blah blah blah. It's the same thing every page. We all know the rules as "written" and the consequences. SUSC plays by their own rules & doesn't care if we don't like it.

Riiiiiight. You're totally okay with cheaters because it's the NH way? Huh!

Agree. They can cheat all they want and even if people are turned off and leave, they don't care. That have very little competition for choices up here, and can cheat and produce bad teams and still turn a profit. They just don't care!
