    Any other thoughts?
If all these clubs stay put, they will be in GSYSL. They are all part of GSYSL and have been for a very long time. GSYSL does a very good job running the league and are so much more organized and efficient than NHSA. NHSA does not have their own league. They are trying to form one now. As with everything NHSA does, it will be a disaster. The organization is a complete cluster. The communication is terrible. Have you tried to get info on their website. It is awful. For example, how are the ODP teams doing? Where can you find out who made the teams? Do they have a schedule of games and results? How did the NH teams do in the Region 1 tournament in RI. These teams represented NH and NHSA, yet no mention of their success at the tournament?

GSYSL is going to be in for quite a surprise come July 31st when the deadline to sign up for their league comes... The only clubs registered for their league will be the clubs coming over from the old NHSYSL league that just merged with GSYSL a couple weeks ago...

I think they seriously miscalculated the response from the clubs in the state... including Nashua, Amherst, Manchester, Derry and Bedford - which I predict will go with NHSA...

Why would these clubs leave GSYSL? What does NHSA have to offer? They can barely run a tournament, never mind a league.

GSYSL definitely miscalculated the response from the clubs. NHSA seems to have the support of the majority of clubs (large and small) in the state. Will there be hiccups, yes. But NHSA is about inclusion which is the polar opposite of the GSYSL board, who are very unapproachable.

I predict this league will only get stronger as more and more clubs and their representatives become actively involved in its growth and development. There are plans in place and they have a lot of support from outside sources.

              Thanks NHSA!

Sorry Byron, didn't know we could post pro NHSA thoughts without your condescending attitude!

Anyway, NHSA should have been better prepared for this but they were not. They do have a rough plan going forward and allowing club participation in the process is a giant selling point. GSYSL has a history of squandering money on boondoggle trips and laptops for board members and have put zero in to their website or communication process in years. Any of you have a child that ref's? GSYSL is a bit$ch to deal with and the attitude is crazy!

Ok... There are hundreds of parents in NH who simply want an organized and well run league for our children to play in. I have held off on having my kids play out of State (NEP or MAPLE) because for one child he's only going to be a U10 and for the other child, soccer is not his primary sport... This whole thing is rather disconcerting to me... Will there be a decent option in this State or not? By decent, I don't need all the "elite" club members telling me how much soccer in NH stinks already... Keep that to yourselves. Please. I just mean a competive, well run league in NH. Ugh.

These days GSYSL is a Very Large town league. It is actually too big for what it offers I feel. If local level competition is what is sought, why not play locally. There is way too much travel and at a young age, for kids who do not want a heavily competitive experience. GSYSL would better serve it's emerging player base if it could utilize it's resources to serve as facilitator to more locally based competition. Or maybe NHSA is heading in that direction as a layer under state competition at seasons' end? I don't know. It seems silly to be fragmenting the small NH soccer base even further than NEP, Maple and DAP have already done.

Wow, talk about condescending! I am not Byron, nor did Byron make that entry. If this comment was made by someone on NHSA then all you are doing is bashing. nHSA hasNOT been the fiscal poster child either. Get your facts rights, if your complaining about laptops and trips to US Soccer events then you don't have much do you.

Only proves what level of maturity you are at.

GSYSL only assigns refs. The refs have their own organization. You got an issue with refs take it up with them. Same organization handles GSYSL, State cup through NHSA, and Futsal.

Wait 11 days and you'll see what the commitment to GSYSL is... be patient...
