You assume Democrats are superior. You assume they are more in control, more intelligent in their actions. More "tolerant." They are not. They are the same as the Republicans.

Democrats are not somehow inherently superior, above the fray, immune to passionate believe in their worldview. They are made from the same stuff their Republican neighbors are, and you should assume they will behave similarly under similar stresses with the current example of leadership.

Tantrums. You are acting like a child. The adults are now in charge. You can go have a time out and think about how you have acted. When you are prepared to act civilized you may return. Now go.

P.S. Your first paragraph is crapola. Complete nonsense.

The paragraph makes perfect sense. Deserves repeating. Hillary Clinton WON the popular vote.

Maybe you can stop your pompous pretending to realize our disappointment has bottomed out. Yours is just beginning.

Clearly, you need some help understanding these matters.

The President -Elect , during his campaign , was talking about the collusion of Progressives, Elites, the Media, the Entertainment Industry, etc. all the ducks in a row were against him. That's the rigging.
But he broke through, because there were enough Americans that believed in his message. Trump supporters were not the ones demonstrating at Hillary's events, they were not orchestrating protests using social media.

What you have protesting in the streets are the ignorant, the malcontents , those who just can't accept defeat. Most are young, students, coddled and isolated from the real world.

The Media, who lost almost all their integrity, if they had any in the first place, in many circumstances are fanning the flames.

CNN with Van saying people are " terrified" . Terrifies of what, that they lost? This isn't 1934 Nazi Germany.

That daily TV show with all those women, The View, broadcasts that now that Trump has won, and all three branches of Gov't are Republican , that the balance of power is now in the hands of " you, us, the viewers".

These two opinions are potentially dangerous. What Joy on the View doesn't understand is that the PROCESS for the balance of power is covered by voting. All three branches are comprised of people voted in. That's what the viewing audience should be told, and that the insinuation that the " View" their hosts, their audience, which is a media projection, is not PART of the selection of the balance of power outside free elections.

Many in the media really believe that they are an integral part of Democracy, but as we have seen , they are really just window dressing. They are so full of themselves.

            Different poster.

Trump's own campaign has authorized citizens to show up with pitchforks and torches if an election is rigged. The majority of voters spoke but someone else is president. All well and good. But when trump tweets out that peaceful protestors aren't entitled to their constitutional rights ("very unfair") he is playing with plutonium.

That's why he reversed himself and then PRAISED the protestors.

Better watch out. Soviet Union fell quickly and trump go t could go just as fast. Pitchforks . Torches. Etc

Maybe trump should name some prominent democrats to his cabinet.

Most of the protesters are spoiled brat college kids who really have no idea what they are protesting other than the fact they have some vague idea that free stuff is going to be taken away from them. Cupcake nation. Plus, these are really wimpy demonstrations. Trying to light small landscaping trees on fire. Knocking over trash barrels and then sprinting away as if they just blew up Parliament. Pathetic.

He lost. We can only agree that it is rigged.

Get rid of this electoral college rigging institutionalized by southern slave owners to artificially steal democratically decisive victories.

Washington (CNN)To shape his administration, President-elect Donald Trump is drawing squarely from the "swamp" he has pledged to drain.

Trump's transition team is staffed with long-time Washington experts and lobbyists from K Street, think tanks and political offices.
It's a far cry from Trump's campaign, which ended only Tuesday night, and message that he would "drain the swamp" in Washington.

So all you have is to roll back 4 years, in a completely different election .
He won. Fair and Square, If you don't like the system, take the necessary PEACEFUL steps to change it.

Trump didn't like the system. He stepped up and ran for Political office for the FIRST TIME in his life. And he ran for America's highest office. He won.

Obama and Hillary had the guts to admit defeat.

Pitchforks and torches peacefully waved outside gates of power? It's the prescription that one side has been pushing for a while so it will be very very hard not to look like fascists if they don't tolerate the protests that they entitled their own side to.

It also doesn't look good to rest of world. Someone got more votes and lost. Shining light atop a hill a la feagan? Don't think so. Rigged system

There is nothing " corrupt " about following the Constitution.

This about sums it up but people like small p will never get it. This is about the media and how wrong they are at feeling the pulse of 1/2 the country. Small p shows the same nasty self righteous attitudes...

“This is all a ‘whitelash,’ you see. Trump voters are racist and sexist, so there must be more racists and sexists than we realized. Tuesday night’s outcome was not a logic-driven rejection of a deeply flawed candidate named Clinton; no, it was a primal scream against fairness, equality, and progress. Let the new tantrums commence!”

That’s the fantasy, the idea that if we mock them enough, call them racist enough, they’ll eventually shut up and get in line. It’s similar to how media Twitter works, a system where people who dissent from the proper framing of a story are attacked by mobs of smugly incredulous pundits. Journalists exist primarily in a world where people can get shouted down and disappear, which informs our attitudes toward all disagreement.”

“That the explainers and data journalists so frequently get things hilariously wrong never invites the soul-searching you’d think it would. Instead, it all just somehow leads us to more smugness, more meanness, more certainty from the reporters and pundits. Faced with defeat, we retreat further into our bubble, assumptions left unchecked. No, it’s the voters who are wrong.

“As a direct result, we get it wrong with greater frequency. Out on the road, we forget to ask the right questions. We can’t even imagine the right question. We go into assignments too certain that what we find will serve to justify our biases.”

Rahn prescribes a tough medicine for the media: Face reality.

“Our theme now should be humility. We must become more impartial, not less so. We have to abandon our easy culture of tantrums and recrimination. We have to stop writing these know-it-all, 140-character sermons on social media and admit that, as a class, journalists have a shamefully limited understanding of the country we cover.”

Perhaps most stunning of all, he concedes the media simply disrespect, and don’t even like, average Americans.

“What’s worse, we don’t make much of an effort to really understand, and with too few exceptions, treat the economic grievances of Middle America like they’re some sort of punchline. Sometimes quite literally so, such as when reporters tweet out a photo of racist-looking Trump supporters and jokingly suggest that they must be upset about free trade or low wages.”

You need a check up from the neck up! You are certifiable.
Do you want to have an election process that marginalized everywhere but the heavily populated urban areas? Does that seem like an equitable way to choose leadership. Why don't we just allow NYC to run the country? I'm sure the voters in Manhattan have a grasp on what matters to the mid west. Wake up you fool, the more you post the dumber you appear.
