Hope they don't find any jewish, black, muslim or latino blood in your veins.

Would you care to join the rest of us that live in "reality"? If I came into this country "illegally" and have always understood that I was breaking the law just by being here, I would be concerned. If I snuck into someone's home without being invited in, I would be concerned about being confronted by the homeowner.
That's how it works in the real world.

Anybody that is here "illegally" if they are Jewish, African, Muslim, Latino, Irish, Swedish, Russian, etc. If you entered the country illegally, you might have a problem. Not unlike most every other country.

If you are an American citizen or here with a proper visa, then you have nothing to fear that you didn't before.

No kidding. Like, the person who lost the election made these statements:

"Well, look. I voted numerous times when I was a senator to spend money to build a barrier to try to prevent illegal immigrants from coming in. And I do think you have to control your borders."

"Both Obama and I voted for that (a fence as she called it) as part of the immigration debate," she said, but then added, "We were voting for the possibility that where it was appropriate and made sense, it would be considered."

“I am adamantly against illegal immigrants. ... Clearly, we have to make some tough decisions as a country, and one of them ought to be coming up with a much better entry-and-exit system so that if we’re going to let people in for the work that otherwise would not be done, let’s have a system that keeps track of them."

Look let's cut through the crap.

Everyone from HRC to Obama to Warren to Bernie et al have already told trump that they want to work with him for the good of all Americans.

Some like Bernie have also rightfully said that if he attacks members of their constituencies instead they will be his "worst nightmare"

I'd say that's a lot more of an olive branch than was ever offered the other side, given Obama won the popular vote and larger margins in the electoral college X 2, and his side never lost ground down ticket.

So now you see confirmation of the inclusivity etc. president elect trump can take advantage of this opportunity or , if he continues as he has, to preside over demonstrations, upheaval and non cooperation.

He better start reaching out a hand because it's his responsibility to be a bipartisan president who looks after all constituents. No more us and them the campaign is over. He needs to start acting more like Obama who was a picture of class today

Absolutely agree. And, Trump is getting plaudits for his humility (not a word associated with him often) for his acceptance speech; and his dialogue with Obama.

So, he's already starting. Too bad so many's panties are tied up in a knot to see it.

As for Bernie, et. al. Agree. Keep him on his toes and call him out if needed. As they should. As has happened over the last 8 years. Hoping Trump receives it better.

Most knowledgeable Dems are pissed at their own leadership for allowing this. They lost the pulse of America, and are paying for it. It's the crackpot whiners who can't figure that out.

                      Which one are you?

                            Scrolled across my timeline...

"When all the non-racist, non-misogynist, non-homophobic, non-bigoted, everyday ordinary people get so sick of you calling them racists, misogynists, homophobes, and bigots that they go out and vote against your candidate, do you:

                            A. Reevalutate your personal conduct and strategy of convincing people to share your politics?

                            -or-

                            B. Call them racists, misogynists, homophones, and bigots and yell at them even more?

According to most of my timeline, you chose B. And, that's exactly why your candidate lost."

Sounded reAsonable and then you showed your hand at the end.

Look if trump administration shows the smallest sign of corruption I'm sure that you would agree that it's time for pitchforks and torches.

That was the position of a prominent trump surrogate prior to the election. Now the election is over and we need to move forward rather than backward so reasonable people will take it all under advisement, but if, going forward, any corruption is revealed then it is time for impeachment and if that doesn't Happen, then pitchforks and torches.

corruption to be revealed covers any new activities of course but also anything that might be revealed during upcoming litigation/investigations already in progress that weren't public record

Anyone have any ideas about how president trump will stop these incidents? There were many today. Shouldn't be get out in front of attacks made in his name.

It's going to hurt his presidency if God forbid, there is a demonstrable uptick I these incidents.
I worry that will bring people into the streets like never before. Then what?

I remember how quickly and quietly the Soviet Union slipped away . When enough of your own turn against you and they are the ones with the energy it's tough for an embattled government to function

I hope president trump is as smart as he claims because I hear many security professionals refuse to be considered for jobs in his administration. That worries me. Think we need some hearings to figure out why?
