took a minute to self-edit and then ran through grammar and spellchecker and its fine.

i also ran it through the Fleish-Kincvaid readability test and a few others. Im familiar with it as Ive written a lot in my field (advanced post doctoral level stuff) that needs to be understood by smart folks who range from middle school students through undergrads of all levels, graduate students, and post-doctoral people who are still of junior level and less experienced than me.

So i have the scores for those last two paragraphs.

the FLEISH_KICAID READABILITY score is 40. Remember there are no typos or grammatical errors. let me put that on a scale. A readability score of 0-30 is best understood by university grads and 60-70 is considered easily readable by thirteen to fifteen year olds. I hope I sm not giving you to much credit here. Figure a HS grad maybe with a year or two of community college should get it. I understand that the sentences aren't grade school simple and try to convey concepts beyond "see spot run".


in fact other scales put it on grade level terms. i ran it through four different readability indexes and the scores range from 12th to 15th grade being needed to understand what i wrote. So try for a different excuse this time.

IU dont dumb down to a seventh or eighth grade level unless i am interacting with people on that level. I am flexible enough to interact productively with anyone at a level THEY arte comfortable with but you haven't earned the minimal effort required of me to dumb down to your level and i guess thats why i haven't bothered to proof or care about auto correct errors. Until now.
