Easy to offer up the lives of young Americans when it is no going to be your kid. How about a draft of all 18 to 21 year olds to serve in the war against ISIS. No hardship deferment, no college deferment, men / women, politicians kids. Everybody goes and serves 3 years with one year of combat. Let's see how popular the war is when everyone has the same opportunity to suffer.

A review of the history of the region shows that the US has spent billions, sacrificed lives , freed millions and millions of Muslims and has left at any time they were asked to. This goes back to Woodrow Wilson.

The problem isn't America, the problem is that Islam has not had a clarification of their theology in hundreds of years, and they exist more today as a political collection of renamed Terrorists imbedded within the multitudes of the faithful. The problem with Islam IS Islam. Out of all the major religions, the factor of violence is more common that any other religion. Experts in the FBI have said that the more immersion into hard core radical aspects of religion are directly connected to increased likelihood of violence.
