Racially Charged Joke by Hillary Clinton and Bill de Blasio Leaves Some Cringing

    http://www.nytimes.com/politics/firs...e-blasio/?_r=0

Mayor de Blasio, Hillary Clinton ripped for racist joke - NY Daily News

    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/poli...icle-1.2596977

And if you actually read the NYT article there are a whole list of outraged guys (and women) most of whom are white (white guilt?), but not all. For example:

"We should start to learn and understand that they really don’t have our best interests at heart. This was insensitive to say the least, and racist to an extreme. Sometimes we over-dramatize things, but this could not be over-dramatized.” - Rev. Michel Faulkner

"Oh, I get it. You see, the joke is Bill de Blasio saying he’s late like black people always are and Hillary saying she doesn’t want to be president. Why would you do this, Hillary? This should be so easy. Just don’t say the things that will lose you the votes.”*- Trevor Noah*

"Hillary Clinton and Bill de Blasio made a racist joke together. How much information do you need to prove she ain't here for us?" - Venus Selenite
So the people you selected as representative of an outraged black community are...

    - Rev. Michel Faulkner
De Blasio's Republican opponent in the mayoral race. Um...ok.

    - Venus Selenite
    a Twitter poster. Lol

    -Trevor Noah
Ok, this choice is reasonable, find us more like him. But one comedian is enough.

Btw, not sure if you know, but pretty much everyone else is over this. Time to find something new to be outraged about.

The lack of outrage is the point. Two liberal democrats said it so it doesn't help the cause. If Trump or Cruz said it, it would still be top of the fold news. Unadulterated hypocrisy.

There's nothing bad/wrong about bankruptcy! It's a tool that all good businessmen will use when necessary.

Well yeah, if *actual* racists say it then it may stay in the news for a while.

I agree. However the track record of troubled and bankrupt Green Energy companies that Obama has pushed to be financed with tax payer dollars is alarming.

Alarming enough to erode some investor's confidence. It isn't just the bankruptcies, it is the gambling with tax payer money.

But no matter, Obama is history. He has checked out and Michelle is working with her decorator on their next residence.

oh...the slow down predicted for second half of year was because of tax credits expiring but since the article was written, credits have been renewed by Congress for 5 more years.

Jeez I guess if Republicans in Congress think this is a good program. Is that why you tea nuts want to throw the Republicans out too? Just that anti-progress?

No one addressing the fact that i am making $$ on my install. Covers my needs for electric and pays for itself with clean energy credits AND selling CLEAN power back to grid.

Also, too, my power is more efficient because there are no transmission line losses between my roof and my A/C. But I really copuldnt explain that too you sciecen wise unless you knew something ex lax so i just....you just don't have the necessary background I guess to understand the issues.

Your experience with residential roof top solar is not the norm. There are doubts about the economics. You're " making money " while your tax dollars are being pulled from your other pocket to support your so called profit.

Please read the article you posted. Government subsidies are the main driver behind demand.

P.S. Hard to take your claims of intellectual superiority seriously when everything you write is riddled with typos.

Wow. i just ran into a neighbor who has same story.

Typical nutter. When faced with real word data, they start waving their hands vaguely and talking about how whatever hard facts someone else is presenting are not there "norm" which they explain in a FACT-FREE way, then they conclude by a gratuitous statement that the only party to offer facts isn't qualified to do so.

ex lax i think you have shown us for years that your understanding of most everything is a mile wide and a millimeter deep.

oops....are you offended I used metric (euro)?

How about this...mile wide and 1/32 inch thick...does have same ring does it?

riddled with typos? let me tell you why.

you wouldn't know this but back when the seventies turned to the 80's us scientists and engineers were the only people on the "internet" for most part.

Sometimes I wish it stayed that way.

we couldn't be bothered correcting typos and in fact it was de rigeur in some quarters to intentionally never capitalize. we did just fine. then the internet became the playground of idiotic morons like yourself. if you think i am going to spend time proofing and editing for you sake when we didn't do it for our colleagues, you are nuts.

guess we were smart enough to still have intelligent discussions without being little pedants like yourself.

how is that? of course, your diatribe allows you to skip out once again on taking on the facts, which you chronically get wrong

Roof Top Solar, at this particular time, is not applicable to the majority of residential homes in America for a long list of reasons. If that wasn't true, it would be more than the single digit percentage of power generation that it is . Without Government tax payer grants, subsidies, tax breaks , on and on, the entire industry would collapse.
All those companies that are troubled and are in bankruptcy ot going under is all the proof .

Dear everyone on forum but nutter ex lax:

i gave some FACTS or rooftop solar upthread. ex lax here is talking vaguely about doubts/ facts and doubts. two very different things. Facts are concrete and strong. vague doubts without facts are weak and wishy washy.

reflect the people. progressives are strong and functional. the nutters mope around finding vague reasons to plant their feet and wish for a time machine backwards.

thats really the crux of it, isn't it ex lax? Look backwards, not forwards, correct?

Germany isn't as sunny as many parts of the U.S; not even close. But Germany has a goal of producing 35 percent of its electricity from renewable sources by 2020 and 100 percent by 2050.

And now for the first time ever, the country has succeeded at generating over 50 percent of its electricity from solar. On Monday June 9, which was a national holiday in Germany, solar power production peaked at 23.1 GW, which equaled 50.6 percent of total electricity demand.
Please have ex lax explain why it would be undesirable to have this in the USA where we get more sunlight than Germany.

but it isn't smart....germans always make dumb dumb dumb decisions about technology, right?
