Stop with the diversion. The number of people serving 20 years for a handful of joints in their pocket is such a small minority of the prison population it is statistically insignificant.

It is basically decriminalized in many states and cities. Legal in Washington DC . But what did that have to do with the savage beating of a former Marine in a McDonalds' on Feb 12th. Look at the names, record them, then to a search for criminal records. A myth. Criminals have not just three strikes, but many times a dozen before they serve any significant time. And the incarcerations are from the CRIMINAL BEHAVIOUR of the suspects. If you don't behave as a criminal, you dramatically lessen the odds of being incarcerated.

So grab two exceptions from the thousands of Judges around the country, and that makes your case?

3) Nephew murdered in drive by shooting Va Beach - assailants - shooter white 17 year old, accomplices - white female 15 year old, white male 18 year old driver.
4) Next door neighbors windows broken and car vandalized Hampton NH - Assailant - car full of white teenagers
5) Neighborhood victimized by car fishing Hampton NH - 4 times during summer of 2011. Perps were white teenagers from Portsmouth NH
6) Car broken into and stereo Stolen - JP MA - perp was white teenager from JP

I lived in East Boston, Allston Brighton and Jamaica Plain for 30 years. NEVER had a problem with minorities. Cops, Courts and Media are biased to fear and disproportionately go after minorities.

For #s 1,2,4 and 6 - none of the criminals were even prosecuted. Some of the kids were "connected" i.e friends were kids of cops, local politicos....

This sounds a lot like no one knows anything but me.

I understand you guys can't see the big picture from the trenches. That's why our laws enshrine civilian leadership keeping military, police, etc on a leash. It's not binary, they can protect and serve without the rest of the crap. They just need to be kept at heel.

I have loved ones that have been victims of crime. My wife was robbed and assaulted while we were dating in another east coast city. I didn't go jihad against entire classes of people as a result.
