I think they are just ignorant of the information or afraid to criticize her testimony out of fear of the MeeToo movement. I'm not trying to say she wasn't believable or that she was lying, but she is a PhD in psychology and she must certainly understand the psychology of lying both in terms of what makes a good liar and what makes a bad liar. So she had an advantage there in that respect as far as her opening statement is concern. She should also know the work that has been done on contaminated memories. Her recollections might almost be considered a case study on that.

This is what we have . I will tell you my story, I don't have any witnesses or corroboration, I can't remember where it happened, exactly when it happened, how I got there, or how I got home. But whatever it was messed up my life enough that I needed to " recover " some of the memories, but the only specific ones that would harm Kavanaugh personally , and you need to believe me. Clearly, she blames him for her issues, and that alone should be explored. Could there be other relationship issues with other people, men, relatives , co workers, anyone, that might be a contributor to her problems?

Dems learned a hard lesson yesterday. There were policies in place to have this addressed and would have protected the privacy of all parties. This would've been handled long ago and if he was not suitable, time to move on.

They did this with intent, and have to pay the consequences.

Next time, don't go into a hearing looking to advance your Presidential running position. Don't go in with a set plan to protest instead of investigate. Don't walk out when you are told you aren't following the rules.

If you want witnesses , file formal charges in the jurisdiction of the alleged crime. Then you will have all the benefits of the Judicial Process.

It isn't that they " wouldn't allow" , it is that there isn't any rights by anyone for them to have to do so. They are not compelled to do so.
