But to suggest I couldn't pass that test ....I have a doctorate in a stem area....took mcas and got admitted to med school but went to grad school instead (interests there and I had a fellowship that paid tuition stipend etc vs goi g into debt )

My college boards were 1390. I took them early because I went to college early. Hadn't even taken algebra II yet. Thats out if 1600 back then and before they adjusted scored upward 100 points. So let's just say 2250 by today's Scale. A lot of kids do better these days but I took. O prep course, did no prep myself, and I was a bit hungover when I took it as I was drinking beer with my friends.

But let's get ti something important. You took exam you claim? Pass? Are you serving as a state trooper?

I have serious concerns for any person of color you may pull over. Or anyone where you see evidence they are a "hippie"

Once again you are exhibiting cognitive bias. By opposing the death penalty I am not saying they have the right to live. I am saying is that many mistakes have been made and because of the dishonesty of many prosecuting attorneys and gold shields who are pursuing a conviction at any cost - that the death penalty is not the best course to justice. Life without parole. Too many poor have received inadequate counsel or have been convicted and then cleared because of DNA evidence that mistakes get made too often. One mistake is too many.

If all of Detroit’s fourth-graders took the well-respected National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) tests, just 120 African-American fourth-graders across the entire city, by researchers’ estimates, would score “proficient” or above in math.

“This is not a misprint,” the authors warn.

•In Atlanta, just 60 Hispanic fourth-graders and 40 Hispanic eighth-graders would score proficient or above in reading.
•In Cleveland, only about 30 Hispanic eighth-graders and 80 African-American eighth-graders would be considered proficient in math.
•In Baltimore, an estimated 60 Hispanic fourth-grade students would score proficient in reading.

The Death Penalty IS SELF DEFENSE. It is a way for society to insulate themselves from the lowest forms of humans, and will prevent them from killing again. Amen to that. Like a broken record some elderly parent calls police for help,with a mentally ill adult child off their meds. Police come and someone dies.

At times we should have someone to call to protect us from the bad eggs in the police force .....and the others who don't do same but know all about it and are silent.
