What is disturbing is how snow flaky you all are. First you complain about American soccer and the coaches know nothing. Now you complain about foreign coaches coming to America to help coach you’re a little ****s. Face it, this is “anti-Trumpism “behavior. You hate something so much that you can’t see beyond your own little insecure noses. GPS has become so big that you are so jealous that you’re a little ****s aren’t on their top teams. You could, on the other hand, just be happy with what you have. Meanwhile kids still go to GPS practices, get great training, and have a great time. Instead of bashing the club that you are not part of why not try to tell us how great it is in the club that you are with? Simple. Your club sucks. I would take a UK coach any time over the Bolts Muslim U11 coach from last year’s Needham memorial day tournament that, after losing, went on a rant and threatened to kill everyone.

My daughter is with gps and her coach is awesome. He’s not american and he came to America on a visa. He lives here permanently now. He goes to every practice and almost all the games and my daughter comes home and can’t wait to go back. How staff have been treated if true is unacceptable but I don’t agree that it has taken advantage of my daughter, she’s been developed, made great friends and has a coach who is a role model too her. If what my daughter receives from Gps in terms of practices and games changed and she stops enjoying it we will leave. The agendas on here don’t really care about the kids, they no nothing about any of this and people choosing to have it impact them is their choice. The people who ran it have left so maybe things will change for the better. We are all adults and can decide what to do next and so are the coaches that were involved. I’ll do what’s best for my kid and won’t be helping others decide what’s best for them. My son plays with another club because we had a bad experience at a club, no agenda I just wanted him to enjoy playing

This thread isn't bashing the coaches of GPS. They are the victims of the criminal and predatory behavior. This thread is shining a light on that awful behavior and calling everyone to take action against GPS and Legacy Global Sports. They are the criminals. By paying money to GPS you are underwriting a criminal enterprise.

This is exactly the attitude that allows this predatory behavior to continue in the U.S. Shame so many people only care about themselves.

Just heard about this thread from another parent. I've read all the posts. Thanks to whoever cobbled all of this compelling information together. Great job! Obviously, GPS comes off looking really, really bad here. Quite awful, really. However, several important thoughts come to mind, including that GPS really needs to close shop -- that organization is so far past their use-by date in terms of priorities and business practices, that people need to wake up and realize that we won't have a healthy soccer landscape unless we are willing to fight for it, and that the GPS apologists on this thread (I am assuming mostly mid and upper level GPS managers and maybe, just maybe, 1 or 2 legit parents) are the most bitter, nasty, dirty people you could ever meet. The true colors really come out when they are criticized -- racist remarks, insults, calling kids terrible names. Reread the posts as they really speaks volumes. Knowing full well that those people posting are GPS managers, what decent parent would ever let these people come in further contact with their children? I mean really? Some of you really need to have a good long think about your decisions. And some of you GPS managers are real sickos!

You are missing the point (intentionally, I'm sure, Mr. GPS Manager)...
A sanctuary state provides a home for those that are looking to create a better life for themselves and their families. The point is that these people want to become positive parts of their adopted community. The references about immigration laws being violated here are all about how GPS and Legacy Global Sports broke those laws intentionally in order to make more money and to abuse their foreign workers. The low-level GPS coaches are the victims here.
Those are two very different things as you already know.

Seriously look at this! GPS and their visa partners, CETUSA, literally threaten their workers. This is the company GPS partners with for the J visas. This is outrageous!

CETUSA started as a foreign exchange student company but was banned by the U.S. State Department after many serious incidents caught the attention of government officials, INCLUDING USING THE EXCHANGE STUDENTS AS CHEAP WORKERS!!!. Seriously???? Then GPS decided it was a great idea to partner with them for J visas for foreign guest workers (i.e. coaches). TWO scumbag organizations working together hand-in-hand exploiting as many people as they can. GPS is SOOOOOO BAAAAAD!
So the question is "Who would want to go into business with CETUSA after this fiasco in 2011/2012?" Unfortunately, the answer is GPS because the plan was to use foreign guest workers as dirt cheap labor in order to drive up profits. They knew CTUSA was desparate to find new business and knew the ins and outs of how to bring foreign workers over to the U.S.
This is the GPS business model and it is basically human trafficking.
