I have no idea what this is about, but it sounds perfectly normal. Many professionals seem to spend more time on their social media brand than on the field. It’s perfectly acceptable for those kids to express themselves how they want. Don’t follow them on instagram if it bothers you.

Not the OP but how is he being inappropriate? Hasn’t mentioned the kid or even club by name. If you know who he means without those details, then he’s right. Kid must be over the top. If you don’t, then there’s no issue.

If this is your daughter you’re so sure he’s talking about then talk to her, not him. If there is actually a kid out there posting about the number of coaches who called her, that’s not good social media marketing of yourself. That’s icky. You sound a little misguided about the role social media can play in recruiting.
