Decision Day for the NEFC 07s... word is they lost three to other clubs (Stars 2, Scorps 1) and one to another sport. Looks like the baddest little team will be just fine.

Select lost 3 players. One to Stars the other two, not sure where they will end up.

Lot of moving pieces still. Scorpions ID clinic was last night. Stars teams are still being formed. This is typically when players realize they don't like their situation as much as they thought they did and try to run an option play.

This is the time of year tryouts and decisions are always made. If you wait until games are done or almost done then school's almost out and people start the summer scatter. It can make for awkward moments if you're leaving or know others who are leaving, but it's the way it is.

Back in the day it was a little later, but as leagues and teams proliferated more clubs started having tryouts earlier and earlier to try and snag commitments earlier. Many teams invite hot prospect players to practices starting in March. By the time "tryouts" happen many teams already have much of their roster done, especially older teams and high demand teams (ECNL, MLS)
