Hello, Scorpions? Yeah, this is Stars Blue dad, and do I have some some good news for you! I have a superstar 2007 who is, well, let’s say, looking for a new challenge. And, to be honest, we love your uniforms! That Scorpion looks mean, and since we can’t beat you, we said to ourselves, let’s take our talents to Taunton! What do you think?

too bad SSS couldn't get in the fun this spring but they already have a full 24 girls on the 07 roster. I would think it's illegal to have more than 24 girls on a roster? Can you imagine your daughter being the 22nd or 23rd girl on SSS.

A. they would be asked NOT to travel to most games
B. if they do travel, they get in for like 5 minutes

and all for the bargain price starting at ..... $4500

Ha! That is so they can send a handful to Impact NPL games. IF contract stated Impact NPL they'd decline Im sure. Nice marketing ploy, thinking your singing for GAL but really, sorry this weekend we "need you to play with Impact". writing on the wall.

yah good point and with such a weak 07 IMPACT team at select I'm sure it will be littered with 6 or 7 GA girls all year.

Here an idea... ask your kid’s coach for next year about the roster. Not specific kids, but how many players they will carry, whether they expect the makeup to be very different, etc. Ideally, you would have done this before you signed a contract.

Maybe the poster doesn't have a contract yet and can't ask the coach? Who knows but why post a snarky reply?

Ask the question in an email and get the response back in writing. It will give you some legs to stand on, when, rather than 18 kids, 24 show up on the first day of practice.

PS - I dont think the other poster was being a jerk .... it was sound advice. Grow a set and ask the questions you want answered to the actual person that controls the answer.

1) why should any of that be revealed? It's none of your business. Ask the club or coach if you're so concerned. It's up to you to decide if they're jerking you around
2) if you really think an anonymous chat board will have accurate/factual information I've a great bridge for sale....
