It’s definitely a sacrifice, but it seems to be paying off so far for them.

My kid has only been at the Revs for a few months, but he can already see they are lazy and uninspiring.

My kid was so happy to go back to training last night.

Sounds like you kid is on the fringe of getting cut and already starting to make excuses.
I am sure he is better off at the Bolts anyway.

I guess everyone has different standards. Glad your kid is satisfied.

The Bolts are the better organization anyway in local DA. Check the commitments list. Watch the match scores this spring. Just keep in mind that a lot of players that come from Revs wash out at the Bolts because they're used to less practices and competition.

"back to training"? Did they stop training at some point?

How many Club and DA players wash out? What age are you referring? Are REVS players washing out at a higher percentage than other players? Maybe REVS players who leave REVS for whatever reason were struggling with the level of commitment they demand and they thought a change would ignite the passion again. Go to BOLTS and realize that they are done doing all that stuff that is required when it comes to "elite" soccer. Travel, sacrifices, training and commitment. Not uncommon in every sport.

I enjoy this site for some of the information this site provides. Can do without the adolescent "my club is better than yours".

                  LETS GO PATRIOTS!

At least Bolts and other clubs don't cut kids mid-year after promising them it's a full year commitment.

The Revs demand commitment, but don’t give it.

Yes, that overflowing bench is chuck full of mid-year cuts.

What and why exactly should they commit?

Because Scalesy said it out loud to everyone involved. I guess he's just a liar.

Actually the Bolts are carrying way too many players, so I guess they don't cut.
