Nor waste away at Seacoast or Bolts. And if he played for Seacoast, most likely a NH, Maine or Near 495 kid and REVS is hardly his backyard. That commute would suck.

Dont know the kid or family? If Family moved away for soccer; where are all the haters who post about kids moving to Europe for soccer.

Half of the family moved. They stayed in the US. He's in a residential program at a strong MLS club and academy with a rabid fan base. He's on the National Team. He's on the right track. He should probably go to college but I'm pretty sure he'll go pro.

When you stay in the US, it definitely means you are on the right track. The soccer in Europe sucks. Truly.

Northwest division is weak. The same Seattle Sounders team tied U17 Revs.

When you stay in the US it means you aren’t fleeing to Europe to try and manufacture a point of difference because you couldn’t cut it here in MA.

                  Sounders has several starters missing.

                        1) European academies don't charge players because they all have first teams.
                        2) College coaches take trips abroad to scout American players.

College coaches skip FL and CA sometimes. Stop with the European vacation B.S.

Not the poster but I've discussed this with a few college coaches. They do go abroad but to meet and greet events much like our showcases. They also develop relationships with sources. They're not going city to city scouting players. How do you think they're giving offers to foreign players - just going by video alone and a SKYPE call?

They aren't leaving AMERICA to scout AMERICAN players in Europe. They have millions of AMERICAN players here to look at. The go to Europe to scout proven commodities that developed in a European system.

They don't have millions of Americans to watch. There's not even a million high school players in total each year, let alone soon to graduate and interested in playing in college. Then the pool of elite college - ready players is even smaller. The fact that they're going to abroad to find better talent than what they can find here - despite over ten years of DA - should be a concern to all.
