just proved my point!

Bryan I guess you’re forgetting your phone call to me mid December to tell me my kid wasn’t going to be getting any play time going forward and he’s be better off going somewhere else. That’s called cutting. Mid season.

Pretty simple

If it were a pay to play club doing that they'd go out of business. The Revs dik people over because they think they can.
Adequate feedback is given by your starting times and playing up. It's up to the player to pursue and ultimately outdo the competition. Not being able to means they are not the top players for whatever reason - probably because they are NOT THAT GOOD.

IF you comprehend the purpose of an MLS DA as a pipeline to the pros, it makes sense. Several MLS clubs are doing this successfully now - though it took them a while.
Unfortunately until there's a Youth Director @ the revs who gets that, it won't happen. Though none of the whiny BMW helicopter parents on this board get it either.
At least they finally hired an actual soccer coach for the first team.

Proves my point
Dotard. Again. Your kid didn't develop. They didn't cut him. He cut himself. Congrats to him that he's able to be happy and doing well in his new team.

Obviously they scouted him for a reason, they had a full year before that to develop him and he was a starter and did just fine. If his skills were declining and he just didn't have whatever they wanted then he would have bailed out by now and moved on to something else (or dropped to an NPL/ECNL team). But he's a starter on his DA team, a high scorer, and being recruited to some great schools. So Revs don't know how to develop players. Which is the point of over a thousand pages of this thread.

And prep soccer is over in Nov. So if someone left DA mid year for prep they'd be playing zero soccer.

The kids listed all left voluntarily. We all know that. We all know who's leaving voluntarily now for better pastures. Do what is best for you at the time available. It may never come again. For her, it's obviously long long l o o o n g past.
One last time - the Revs don't cut mid-year period
