I don't want to name names but my son played against one of those players for a few years before he signed with the Revs (my son didn't sign with the Revs, the player I'm referring to did). That player should easily be a pro right now. I saw him play this past spring and was horrified with the lack of development I saw in him given how much better he was than every other player (and they were good opposing teams) four years ago. It was like they put chains on him and never let him out of his space to truly test his limits so those limits have become engrained. I would not let my son anywhere near this organization.

Two of the players mentioned are from CT and two are from RI, which shrinks the list substantially relative to other clubs in an apples-to-apples comparison of MA players.

And the first name on this list committed to Princeton well before he joined the Revs for his senior spring and after he had played 2+ years for the Bolts.

Ditto for AN who committed to UVM when he was at seacoast.

Poor little #RevsFanBoy, your propaganda is being debunked. Not only do the Revs need to poach already developed players, they REALLY need to poach already committed players to make the club seem relevant.

^^ plus Princeton and Dartmouth you're not getting in without the grades. Good players but they're not there because of soccer.

NEU soccer program has been a debacle the last few years. No thanks to that but the co-op program is fantastic.

They’re there for soccer. They don’t have Ivy League quality grades. They do pretty well in school, but definitely nowhere near Ivy League standards.

Princeton and Harvard actually are very strict on admissions especially the last few years- both Ivy and their own standards. Dartmouth and the rest of the Ivys not as much but still strict on meeting overall index requirements for Ivy.

Sorry #Revsbashercreep, you can’t have it both ways. Revs are either placing kids in Div.1 or they are not. They cannnot help when the kids finally make the roster.

Taking a kid that was already committed and calling them a "Revs" player is 100% bullsh*t. Kids wasn't developed there. Club did not help get him recruited. Yes other clubs do it too but that doesn't make it right. So, since the clubs will never be honest others will continue to call out the lies.

I love this trash about who develops who. The kids, their friends, and their parents are responsible. The only way a child makes it to college is by practicing countless hours on their own and with friends. The structured practices and innumerable games can help (and hurt), but the drive comes from the player, the athleticism from the player’s parents, and the joy typ playing with friends.
                          Signed
                          D1 player.

That’s so true, there is not a single club in the area that makes an appreciable difference to a kid’s development after U13. SAD!

That’s just when the European kids start to ramp up.
