Googled the miles from New Britain to various DAP

Great accomplishment. Might be the next Homegrown for the Revs.

Look at the South Kent kids and some public school kids that were added to beachside without waivers. In fact NESJ did a piece on their new DAP adds. They are also easy to spot on roster because they have only played four or five games
Now the Revs may chose not to give waivers or chose not add kids in the fashion they Beachside did. The loophole does absolutely exist.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostOnce again, it's not a "loophole". The USSDA has an add on period as a league. Beachside, as a club, can grant waivers to their players if they choose to. Revs have decided they will not. What is it about that, that you don't understand? Do you know what a US Soccer HS waiver is?

The roster add on period has nothing to do with a waiver. Essentially, the Revs picked up and rostered a few players a couple of months ago and will want a full year DA commitment from them when rosters are finalized in July, or they can be released outright.

They will lose several key 15's and the few key 17's after the 17/18 season. Desperate times may call for desperate measures.
