Wise man, TS is an excellent source of reliable information.

Never seen a sports "journalist" so focused on the players that score the most goals. Seems to rarely mention anything else, which makes me suspect he is writing purely off of game stats (goals scored is conveniently right there in the game reports), rather than actually attending any of these games. Either that, or he just doesn't know anything about soccer.

COme on it's NESJ. It's one step above your local town paper. Actually, I take that back. the local sports reporter will actually go to games, take pictures, even if they don't necessarily know much about soccer. Of course all NESJ did was take game results and try to write an article around it.

Can someone start a thread “NESJ needs to make some changes?”

100% accurate. The free local papers that end up being driven over in people's driveways are better than NESJ.

Not even really worth its own thread. Back to the Revs now, because they're definitely worth discussing...

You parents need to find another hobby. face the music - your kid is just not good enough.

Posting trash on anyone that doesn't choose or talk about your kid is not going to stick.

You can slander Revs, NESJ, TDS etc on an anonymous forum till the cows come home. The fact that this is an anonymous forum means no one of consequence will ever take you seriously. In the end these organizations will be just fine. You on the other hand will be your own worst enemy.

You know what really drives me nuts. The Revs are a train wreck, but if my kid got an invite he would probably accept. The Revs just coast on their supposed “reputation”.

Mine too, but that Charris guy is sure persistent. My kid said that having spoken to a bunch of guys on the teams, they tell him not to bother.

"In the end" is the real danger here. "In the end", your kid will stagnate at the Revs and not develop like you had hoped he would and end up leaving the sport like so many others in this country. Why? because of poor American coaching.

"In the end" don't accept mediocrity.....from anyone.

Charris is persistent because he wants to bang your wife

My kid is at the Revs, we do not want to move the family to another part of the country or the world. What do you suggest we do to not accept mediocrity?
